Assumptions:

Contreras at DH

Hoskins at 1B

Frelick in CF

Turang at 2B (3 hits in 7 AB)

Ortiz at 3B (Can Dunn get every start against RHP?)

Yelich, Adames and Chourio should be a given. Cant imagine any of them need two days off.

Maybe Sal plays 3B and Perkins gets a start.

That’d be something.

Hard to imagine Ortiz, Dunn, Turang and Monasterio all getting steady AB. I assume two will eventually excel above the others.

Have we already seen the best of Rea, or will he be better this year?

I think better.

He added a splitter he can throw to combat LHH’s and he’s had more time to work with the team’s PDS.

The team getting a team option next year on Rea tells me they think there’s a decent chance they can get a couple of nice seasons out of him as well.

I predict a Brewer will hit a 3-run homer in the 9th to tie it and another will hit a 2-run homer that same inning to win it.

Three days catching in a row for Contreras. I assume with off day tomorrow he will also catch home opener.

2 days off this week. Makes sense.

Next 10 comments are people flaming them for batting Dunn 5th at DH ->

I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

I wonder if that's ever been done before? And on Easter to boot?

I don't think there's much improvement left in Rea and that's okay. He pitched to a 95 ERA+ last season, which is right about smack-dab in the middle of starting pitchers. For the amount the Brewers are paying Rea, that's a hell of a deal.

I get Muph likes to go left right left right and Dunn played well enough to DH. At 6 Rhys is a bit low but with a high obp usually that isn't a bad spot.

Thanks, still makes me teary eyed. I feel like I may have asked this in a previous year but was that game televised in Wisconsin? I am pretty sure I watched the Rangers broadcast as we had one of those big satellite dishes and back then it was mostly just road games that were televised. The Rangers announcers weren't nearly as animated as Bob when Deer hit his homer. They could feel it coming just like everyone else and it was such a no doubter off the bat.🙂

I am guessing no. I was listening on the radio in our backyard.
