No enthusiasm anymore it seems.

Brewers have the fewest innings from their starters in MLB.

Shocking.

Thats what we get for not acquiring even one starter that projected to be better than a 5.

The worst part of the lack of innings from the starters is that the strength of the team which is the bullpen will most likely fall apart from overuse.

Nice recovery from Freddy after gifting Miami a HR to start the game. He’s retired 9 straight as we head to the bottom of the 4th inning.

Jinxed him

Trying to be more positive for those in the forum who dislike anything else

Even if he recovers & has a good game tonight - Freddy is not an “ace”

It would be awesome if he matures into one this season

He's a great number 3 and a solid 2 but definitely not an ace. He looks like the greatest pitcher ever compared to the rest of this awful rotation.

Bauers had a hit the other night against a lefty. Was that a fluke? Imagine coming up to the show and for the first time in your life being told you are not able to do this. Go sit down.  Gotta be rough. On another note if Weimer isn't playing why is he here??

No reason whatsoever for Wiemer to be on this roster. He needs to spend the season in AAA learning completely new hitting mechanics.

I think it has more to do with Mark Attanasio than Murphy, That is probably why Counsell left.

He is cheap buy the way.

Brewers are anxious to get this one over and get on to Boston.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

If not paying a manager 8 million a year is being cheap its fine by me.

Counsell became the Chicago Cubs' manager in November 2023 at $8 million per year. His 2023 Brewers salary was 3.5 million.

It wasn't just about money Counsell wanted out.
