Sun shines on a dog's butt every once in a while. When they win series' against those teams on a regular basis, then you might actually be onto something. Not until then though.

Someone asked the last time they won a series against the Phillies. I answered.

You just want me to do the work for you. If you're a true Crew fan, than you know they've said that several times.

So what you’re saying is you can’t back up your own claims?

Others have to find the supporting documentation to support your stance?

Sounds like you’re just making stuff up at this point.

I know of quote after quote of them literally saying the opposite, they've been posted in here.    The Brewers are one of the best run franchise in all of baseball, some people are always going to negative no matter what.  Again the thing missed is how the playoffs are a crapshoot in baseball so you can do all the tough guy 'go for it' and 'I demand more because I'm a real fan and you're not' moves and they're not going to noticeably increase your chances in the playoffs.  But if you're a small market team they will definitely kill your chances in future seasons.

This is such a cop out.  You made the claim, you need to provide the proof.

If it is truly as frequent and obvious as you say (while others have actually provided quotes to the opposite) then it should be easy for you to source.  Since you can’t, we’ll all just continue assuming you are speaking out of your… well, you know where.

Questioning my fandom since I won’t dig up quotes for your made up argument is ridiculous.  I’ve been a following the Brewers for over 35 years, been on this site for 22 and have traveled across the country to watch them play… hell, I went to 70+ games in 2003 when the team won only 68 games - I’m pretty sure I’m a true fan.

Sigh, I just can't believe how many Brewer fan like to conveniently forget things the organization has said several times, for several years now, since they've been winning games? Does this fan base want a WS win, or not? They don't do what's necessary to get over the top. How do we usually do when they play the Dodgers, Phillies, etc? When's the last time they won a series against them? I get it, you disagree. Oh well, life goes on.

He posts on the very day we completed our sweep of the reigning WS champions....As we did during their championship season last year on the road....

Simply getting to the playoffs isn't enough for me, if they have no intentions to make a move and help them over the top, to have a real chance of winning it all. Sue me. Lol

In the wild card era more wildcard teams won it all (8) than teams with 100 or more wins (6). Over the last ten years the average number of playoff appearances it took to win a single title was 4.6 years. Only one did it with less than three. Doing everything you can to field a great team does not increase your chance of winning it all. Doing what it takes to get into the playoffs does.

I feel like we are going round and round and further off topic. Locking until some more Keuchel news comes up.
