Willy not hitting well tonight... maybe having the night off isn't the worst thing.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Literally every time a player or manager gets tossed, just make a blanket assumption that an umpire screwed up, got called on it, and the extremely fragile egos of the umpires led to an ejection. It is literally always precisely that simple...

Thats a strike but that ejection is absolute BS

But there’s also no reason to goad an umpire like that when you should know that they like to draw attention to themselves.

Hope the makeshift infield defense doesn’t prove to be costly.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Well, I was hoping for more but technically Mitchell did finally knock Hudson out of the game...

It does appear certain umps have pretty thin skin.

Call was a strike, though. Not close.

Maybe I saw a different pitch... what I saw was a strike.

I thought so also a strike. Oh well Adamas can get a little extra rest.

Do players get fined if they are ejected?  I can't recall...

Yes, in Major League Baseball (MLB), players typically receive a fine after being ejected. The amount of the fine depends on the player's actions and the severity of the situation.

Man, give Colin Rea a raise. What a savior this kid has been for the rotation.

I've been waiting for him to regress to the mean but he hasn't.

Let's hope so...

It’s been a long time since the brewers haven’t been behind in a game.   Makes me nervous
