64 pitches and only 32 strikes for Miso…..2 more WPs and another hit batter to go with the 3 walks and 3 strikeouts………EB with some great defense behind him too.

Wild pitches were Montverde, the Pensacola pitcher.

Will Childers worked around a trio of one out singles in the fifth to record the zero.

Bo Bowman worked a one two three sixth (1 K).

Sam Carlson struck out the first two batters in the seventh before going walk (stolen base) single, getting Pensacola on the board at 2 to 1.

Sam Gardner now on and walks the first batter before getting a groundout to end the inning.

Looks like Salem intentionally threw at Castillo. Pitcher had no command issues in the inning outside of hitting Castillo with a pitch that was thrown behind him?

Clearly threw at him.

I guess when you can't get a hitter out that you resort to throwing at him. Sour grapes.

Have. A. Series. Luis Castillo. My goodness.

And, for those tracking at home: we have not seen CF Yophery Rodriguez since he pulled up slightly lame with that lower right hammy issue this past Wednesday in the first inning. We obviously don't know the type of the injury or what exactly is injured but he certainly missed the rest of the series and it certainly 'looked' like some type of something to that area.

Sam Gardner back out and works a three up three down (1 K) eighth.

Brock Wilken has singled to lead off the ninth trying to get some insurance run(s) for the Shuckers.

EMJ at the dish. Quickly in an 0-2 count. Yoho warming up in the Pen. EMJ grounds it through to the right side. Hit quite well through the hole. Everyone advances. Still nobody down. 3-1 game Shuckers.

Meanwhile, ol' friend LHP Justin King is warming up in the Wahoos pen (he has four scoreless innings so far as a Wahoo reliever - well done, young man!).

LOL. Warren hits a swinging bunt in a 3-2 count and it stays fair down the 1B line. Another run crosses. Nobody could cover 1B in time. Bases still juiced. 4-1 Shuckers.

Kahle rips a two-run deep single in the right CF gap. He plates two. Warren holds at 3rd. Men on the corners now. 6-1 Shuckers!

Fittingly, King gets the swing and miss K on a breaking ball below the zone. Martin took some really questionable hacks in that AB.

EBJ with an AB bespeaking of a guy who hasn't got a hit all day. He swings and misses on a high 94 mph heater. Was well behind that pitch. Not a good AB. Two down.

Really nice work by LHP Justin King. He gets Wilken flailing at a beautiful change-up tailing off the outer black for a 1-2 swinging K.

I tell you, watching that inning, I'm thinking and saying the exact same thing today as I am when they released King:

"Why would you let that arm leave the system for free?"

He has stuff and tools that merit a roster spot. Just silly.
