I have to apologize to everyone; snapping the winning streak is my fault. I got excited and finally started to buy in to the team being for real last night, so bought some tix for the fam for next week. Major slide incoming, no doubt.

Been a nice stretch. Frustrating to give away a winnable game today especially with the Dodgers and Phillies likely headed for victories.

Too early to be counting games. Almost 7 weeks left.

Disappointed we lost today but Hall looked better for sure. Upgrade if he can get comfortable and throw strikes consistently. Ross has no business being here at thus point. Someone is going to have to go with guys getting healthy.

Man, half the GTs have been scoreboard watching the rest of the NL Central since May!😂

Why was Contreras ejected?

I was only listening on the radio, but Contreras and Murphy were barking at the Homeplate umpire earlier in the at bat.

he was ejected after running to first during GIDP.

The Phillies troubles seemed to start when Harper, Schwarber, and Realmuto all went on the IL.

Those guys are back but the team hasn’t found its form from the first 2-3 months.

7.5 game lead even with a loss today ... and coming off the DL won't be easy for Yelich  either or anybody.

Murphy is not a good in game manager …

You need to go post like you usually do on the Cubs website.

Cardinals were off today? I've never heard of a regular baseball day off on a Sunday.  Weird.

Several teams were off today.

I thought the same thing for a Sunday, but its true, they didn't play. It is very weird.

It happens occasionally these days when teams play one of their two game “rivalry series” over a weekend. This weekend it was  Cubs-White Sox and Cardinals-Royals.

The Brewers had the Friday after the All-Star game off when almost everybody else was playing because of their two game series against the Twins

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

That's right! If he was better, we'd be in first place by several games.

Oh wait . . .

Murphy is great with nicknames, relationships, team chemistry & camaraderie … he’s not good with in game decisions - pitching changes, when to remove the starter, pinch hitting … too many gimmicky plays

I’ve never been to the Cubs website - I despise all Chicago teams

I’m a Brewers fan… but I’m not a “Homer” who only compliments the team

Not entirely true. I don’t follow them that closely but I know Turner was out for about 6 weeks, including when the Brewers played them.

Turner missed weeks 6-11 so yeah I was off a little.  4 of their starters have made all of their starts.

They've had incredible injury luck.

If only you were the manager. We'd have won a World Series or two by now.

How silly … What a waste of time to make such a nonsense comment

The good news is Clayton Kershaw is not himself right now and the Brewers lined up there 4 best starters for this series.

You write countless posts on an internet chat board bashing the team and now you accuse others of wasting time. Oh, the irony!
