Yeah that was a missed call for sure. I think Haase may have been set up a bit outside hence the miss on the call. On TV it looked like a strike that was missed.

It won't be the last the Bucknor misses.

Anything hit to the pitcher should be a "run hard" scenario unless the pitcher is capable, then save your legs. That said, yeah, he should've ran. I'm not really ready to bench him for it. I think he knows he goofed.

I mean I literally cannot think of one example where a Brewer manager has ever actually benched a Brewer player for lack of hustle in my entire lifetime so it's not like it's going to happen anyway.

Why would we not want to play the Cubs or Cardinals to open the playoffs? They suck, and it would be  highly enjoyable to end their season.

If we're going to be the 3 seed, which is the most likely scenario, I'd rather open with either of them than any of the other likely alternatives.

I really don’t think either the Cubs or Cards make the playoffs. The Wild Card teams most likely are the Padres, Diamondbacks with the third WC either the Braves or Mets.

Getting himself out and the glares from Murph and teammates will be enough.  Chourio doesn't seem thick-headed that it will happen again anytime soon.

Hope so!

No I agree. The Braves are the most likely opponent at this point, and I think they're a better team than either the Cardinals or Cubs, which in itself is why I'd rather face the Cardinals or Cubs.

I'd like to think not, but it's not been that long since his most prior major mental mistake game.

I can't either.

I can only think of Bobby Cox putting Andruw Jones on the bench for "hot-dogging" it in the outfield.

Pretty disappointing way to end the series. You'd hope that the homeplate umpire would never be a major factor in a win or a loss and unforunately he indeed was today.
