I don't recall any past first basemen of ours choking on vomit or involved in a fatal gardening accident?

@HarryDoyleFirst and third, runner on first broke for second and stopped. Got in a rundown, Contreras broke for home, Chapman dropped the throw, easy peasy.

Pretty sure Greg Brock spontaneously combusted during a game. It happens to dozens of people a year.

Double steal situation.  Adames got into a rundown, trying to give time to Contreras to score from third.  They threw to third to get Contreras and third baseman bobbled the ball.

Poor handling by the Giants.  Two outs and two strikes, so the catcher has to be cautious even if he can "get" Adames.  Then throwing behind Contreras was another poor decision, with the bobble being third of their problems.

Civale for 6 and Wilson for 3 would be an ideal setup to the double header tomorrow.  Lets Ross pick up for Hall and keeps the rest of the pen fresh.

BTW, this is the playoff lineup I think. All we need is for Hoskins to get hot (fingers crossed, pray, etc.).
