If you replayed this entire game with no commentary and just a sad trombone playing in the background it would make a lot more sense.

I'll send you my on line over bet .

Nobody cares about your gambling. You're a wet blanket who only shows up to post when you can be negative. You straight up said this was a 75 win team, so the idea you can turn around and call this team a failure when they win 90+ and make the playoffs is nonsense.

I've been the biggest Hoby defender but he probably should be DFA'd at this point. He is ARB3 next year and will likely be around $4M. Combine that salary with him not being optionable and having 2 LHP ahead of him in the bullpen depth chart (not even counting Hall or Ashby).

You're probably right that his time is running out, I was just pointing out that it's not that difficult to see why he'd keep getting chances and that he seems pretty likely to go back to being effective moving forward

As a tactician [Murphy] is the worst I've seen in a long time.

I wholeheartedly agree - but there are many on this forum who believe he is fine

I imagine he will win Manager of the year - but those voting may look at W/L record only

I believe Milwaukee wins in spite of him - certainly not because of him & his in game decision making

I think we can officially give up on a first round bye. I don't see this upcoming road trip to be a successful one. This might be the most pitiful offensive effort of the season.

Put me on ignore if you don't like it. I don't bother showing up because of guys like you and that other know it all who isn't here today but I will post whenever I see fit and there is nothing you can do about it.

You should just mind your own business and stop telling others how to react to this team when its not playing well. Just as you are allowed to wave the blue and yellow pom poms I am allowed to vent my frustrations when the team plays as it did today and really as week.

He's a terrible tactician and I don't think many would disagree. Ned Yost won a World Series but that doesn't mean he wasn't a terrible manager and so is Murphy.

The most likely scenario is a first round 2 of 3 matchup against Atlanta or the Mets and I don't see this team beating either one especially the Mets who have most of their players healthy.

Thats my bet and it even includes the amount. Since its an overseas on line bet I have no physical ticket.

That's still not proof. You just posted text which you can edit. Either you screenshot the actual on-line ticket and post that or you have no proof.

Your post on 2/7 that this is a 75 win team is actually real and every step along the way this year you've only complained on this site. Like I said a total wet blanket.

It would be funny if it was the Mets seeing as how they will be in town to finish the regular season. They won't even need to travel home.

Yeah, I don't see how they could ever win two out of three against these teams that they are 7-2 against this year.

Face it. The Crew are playing some heartless, gutless baseball right now.  The batting looks clueless, like the past few years when we relied on Burnes and Woodruff to keep us afloat. I'm not abandoning ship. I hope and trust that the team can figure out that you can't just hit a bunch the 3-run dingers [not fingers 😄] every game.  But I'm pretty bummed right now. At least my Saints got off to a ripping start; that's a bit of consolation.

I am not proficient on how to post a screenshot but if someone would give me directions I will happily post both of my Brewers preseason bets.

Even if those bets are real all it shows is you have a gambling addiction because you actually posted this is a 75 win team and then have turned around and been completely negative any time you post for months straight.

Here you are on July 13th saying how this team is mediocre and nowhere near being a championship team. How would a mediocre team nowhere near a championship team be a failure for making the playoffs?

On July 31st you said the team made a mistake not selling at the deadline, but now they are a failure if they make the playoffs?

You're just a wet blanket.

Nothing says you are taking this seriously like bringing your kids with you to once again answer the tough questions. No wonder everyone seems to be on who cares alert.

What sucked about the top of the 5th was Murphy was sort of put in a box there. The situation screamed for a LH out of the BP & the only other option was going to DL Hall w/ three days rest after pitching four innings Wednesday. Obviously they didn't want to do that. Otherwise it's roll with Peralta, who was facing guys for the 3rd time & in the inning had faced four men-----three base hits & a fly to the warning track in CF. If anything,  Murphy should be jumped on for using Koenig for two innings on Saturday, therefore putting him down today. This was a different animal for Milner than vs STL as he actually got to face the LH as opposed to a RH PH. No excuses.

Another clear illustration as to why Freddy is no ace, Brian Anderson babbling notwithstanding. With the runner on 3rd & two outs he loses the 8 & 9-hole hitters on walks & has to face Blackmon. He got him, but that whole sequence just speaks volumes.

Yeah I’m not a fan of kids being at press conferences either but that seems to be his MO

Murphy needs to stop using Ashby when trailing. He should be the RP being brought in to pitch out of a middle innings jam in a tie game or lead and then go another inning or 2. Not to be used to eat 2+ innings while the team is trailing like he did in game 1 of this series.

Hopefully getting Burned by Ashby not being available today makes that clear to Murphy.

Yep. And once these guys grow up a bit his style is gonna stop working.

He is publicly critical of the players when they lose. It's garbage and it's gonna have an expiration date.

As a tactician he's the worst I've seen in a long time.

With all the baseball experience he has you would think that something intellegent would have rubbed off. But Murphy can’t manage himself out of a wet paper bag. He can’t put a lineup together, has a very hard time managing a pitching staff, is clueless to pick up on when to sit struggling players, and definitely unable to comprehend when a player needs a rest. In other words Marc’s comment hits the nail on the head, tactically he trends to a very poor manager. The one thing he has going for him is he seems to have a good relationship with his players.
