He has a 1.63 ERA, a 2.34 xFIP, and 15/17 outings have been scoreless.

He was also outstanding tonight outside of 1 bad pitch to Encarnacion that was hit for a double. Canha just had a great piece of hitting against a good pitch. Devin was locating extremely well tonight. Just based on how he pitched it was one of his best nights this year.

I was wondering what a series win against a bad team was like.

You couldn't remember back to 2 weeks ago when the Brewers took 3 of 4 against the Reds???

Mike Trout is unreal. 30HR/49SB guy as a 20 year old in 2012.

Oh, and he went on to have 8 more years that were better than that in his career. Did you know he could have been a Brewer…🥲

Not sure, we didn't play the Cubs.

2 weeks is too far.    I will leave the memories for you.

I mean not only did this kid become the youngest player in MLB history to go 20-20 tonight, but he came pretty close to becoming the first right handed hitter in the history of this ballpark to hit one into McCovey Cove....Just incredible oppo power.

That's honestly pretty shocking that a RHH has never hit a ball into the Cove.

Too bad yelich is made of glass.    Would have been a dangerous team in playoffs and a heck of a pairing with chourio the next few years.

maybe he can come back and make it through the season and play like he did this year.   He really should do a lot of work at first base

9 games up with 16 to go.   Not one person thought this season would be like this.   Probably been the most stress free playoff chase I can remember.   Maybe ever in September

Brewers were up 14 games on 9/12 in 2021 and clinched a playoff spot on 9/18 with 16 games to go.

In the division?     I honestly don’t remember that at all.    I’m going to have go back and look at that now.   It always seems like it’s a dog fight to the last week

we should have done that this year to be honest

Yes in the division. They didn't clinch the division until 7 games remaining because they went on a bit of a cold stretch after clinching the playoff spot and the Cardinals were in the midst of that massive win streak, but they had clinched a playoff spot with 16 games left. They were 89-55.

Gotcha.    Maybe because winning the division meant a lot more back then it didn’t seem as easy as this years

Man that 2021 team was so good. Imagine if that team had Yelich in MVP form or even 2023 form. That year really felt like it could have been the year if Yelich was still in great form.

It's nice that Yelich has bounced back, but man him falling off right during the stretch we had amazing and cheap SP was pretty awful.

How could he have been a Brewer? The Angel's drafted him the pick before Milwaukee.

How he hit that pitch like that is incredible.  A location most hitters would get jammed into a pop up.

We're going 6-11 to finish the season?

Considering the total circumstances, including the remaining schedule and the Brewers current offensive struggles, a 6-11 (now 5-11) finish is not that far fetched.

The Brewers next 10 games are against two teams with potent offenses that are still playing to cement their playoff positions. If the hitting doesn't pick up it isn't hard to see the Brewers going 3-7 in those games. But, it's also possible that that could be good enough to clinch the division. If the Brewers do clinch the division during the upcoming homestand, who knows what their strategy and motivation would be the final week.

Just look at what the Brewers did in 2021. With 18 games remaining they had a record of 89-55 and had a 14 game lead in the division. They went 6-12 the rest of the way, and lost 5 of 6 after clinching the division title.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.
