FWIW, I didn't think Frelick really had a shot to catch that.

Not going to criticize the dude for the hustle. That's his makeup. It's probably why he's a big-leaguer. Just really too bad he couldn't manage to turn down the intensity a tiny, tiny bit.

Not sure how it's meaningless, when there's a chance they could be back here on Tuesday. Mets fans have this entitlement that their team history doesn't warrant, IMO.
