Game 7: Texans @ Packers - Sunday, Oct 20th at 12:00PM

I don't know if it was a fumble or not but they blew it dead before a recovery. The defender also wrapped his arms around #11 to prevent him from recovering it which is not legal. And there would have been a collision with Love and the guy closest to recovering. The challenge is moot because they didn't let the sequence play out.

How would a challenge of that forward pass even work? They blew it dead before anyone recovered the fumble.

There was a clear recovery by the Texans so it would have been Texans ball.  However I don't know if there was an angle you could definitively say backwards in order to overturn the call.

Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."

Too many mistakes today. Glad we’ve got the lead, but man this game feels like it should be 21-7 against.

It's just a matter of playing smarter. Boneheaded mistakes are keeping this closer than it has to be.

No. That's not the rule. You can't challenge a recovery when they blow it dead prior to a recovery. That's why they are supposed to let it play out if they aren't sure.

I feel like they can reverse a call like that after whistle but not positive.

This wasn't the normal call though. If you go back and watch that in real time, they are blowing that whistle long before there's a recovery. Half the players stop running. If you can challenge that, it's absurd. And like I said, that wrap around #11's waist is a completely illegal play, but, lol.

Possession can still be reversed on review even if the recovery was after the whistle had been blown, as long as the recovery afterward occurred immediately and not in dispute. The only question would be if was indeed "immediate".

I know Rodgers never throwing picks has kind of spoiled the franchise, but Love probably doesn’t need to throw picks at quite this rate. Get it together, dude.

Van Ness putting his name in the hat of useless 1st round Packer picks. Also let them run the time all the way down to the 2:00 and reduce the chances of us getting the ball back. Terrible play.
