Love had absolutely no business throwing that pass. Come on, man.

Is who he is at this point it seems, unfortunately.

Allen is a stiff and the Packers have been in control of this game the entire time. Nobody would be saying he outplayed Love if Love was 10/19 for 168 and 2 TDs. Which is what he should be.

The entire strategy has clearly been to bottle McCaffrey. Allen has made 1 or 2 good throws. The rest has been a bag of meh.

Other than Jacobs, this offense has been nonexistent. Love has played very poorly.

The Watson throw obviously wasn’t his fault, but there have been bad throws as part of his line too.

Love had several games this year where he became obsessed with the deep pass and completely ignored the medium-depth routes.  So frustrating and it keeps him from taking that next step as a QB.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

I know it will never happen but wish we could stick Willis in with a lead late like this. Just give the running game another dimension and we want to run. Love is a turnover waiting to happen right now.

I keep waiting for Love to return to the form he was at this time last year but still not there. We should probably run the offense through Jacobs until that happens.

Last year may have been a fluke looking at his college stats. MLF doesn’t call any short passes or Love refuses to thrown them. Just doesn’t looks like it’s’ in the cads this season.

I don't think you can be the best quarterback in football for half a season by accident. I don't know why he's taken a step back this year but they better figure it out soon. I would like to see MLF put in a package for Willis too.

I'm sorry, and I'll get lit on fire, but this place is outrageously harsh on Jordan Love.

I don’t think so. You should see the Facebook groups — “Willis should be starting!!” “55 million dollar mistake!”

I think most people here recognize that Jordan Love is our franchise QB. I think they’ve just been disappointed with his play this year, which honestly is understandable.

Love’s been inconsistent again, but it’s not like the 49ers are pushovers. Even without Bosa, this is a top-10 defense. And Watson wasn’t the only drop of the day. What’s weird is how his statistical line is poised on a knife edge between great and terrible. Receivers make a couple more catches, and one of Jacobs’ tds is a pass play and it’s an awesome day against a talented and desperate team that has been a franchise nemesis. On the flip side, if the Niners catch those two picks, it’s a pretty rough day at the office. I think he’s better than he’s been, but not as good as he can be.

I think people are a little to used to Rodgers for years and years.

Also, I think people don’t truly realize the current state of QBs in the NFL..they just ain’t the dominant force they were in the Manning to Rodgers era. Allen? Burrow? Meh…if prime Aaron Rodgers played in this era he would be regarded as the best QB in history by a mile.

If Love can progress to be a little smarter of a QB and maybe find more consistency…I think he can lead a team to a Super Bowl trophy.

I don't think people are saying he is a garbage QB... just that he could be really good and he continues to make poor decisions that keep him in that "good but not great" range of QBs.

I actually like Love  but he has a 50% completion percentage today with 2 near picks.  Something is just not clicking right now

This was inevitable. The bar is so dang high after thirty years.

It's getting old though. The guy throws an incomplete pass and he should have checked it down. The dude threw a long completion last week and there were 3 immediate posts about how bad of a throw it was because it was into coverage. Every single thing the dude does is under a microscope. I've said myself he's not having a good season, but there's been very little in this game to be concerned about. His box score is bad, that's about it.  They've dominated the LOS and frankly he just wasn't asked to do that much today. He had one great TD pass that his WR didn't catch.  I never expected he would look amazing Year 1 - Year 15.

The 49ers haven't lost a game this season by more than one score outside of Kansas City. They're not playing the Jaguars again.

True on Watson, but then he throws two more deep shots and punt instead of taking a few underneath routes and kick a FG.  They were moving it, they had two timeouts, the 49ers were in prevent D... getting another 20 yards and kicking the FG was a real possibility, but Love decided to keep gunning on low-chance throws.

Just poor game level decision making.
