Yoho looks like a superstar but "Airbender" cannot be what we name his pitch. We must come up with a new name for Yoho's pitch.

7:40 in the Video is when you see Yoho pitching.     This is a call to ALL Brewers fans out there ! Help me out please?

When people tell you Yoho has an "Airbender" they are really saying that because they cannot describe his pitch in normal terms. I am having trouble in that regard myself.   It is a VERY special pitch much like that Devin Williams special.       However Williams "Airbender" is a group of pitches that are his entire identity and they are very different than the wild Jedi Mind Trick pitches Yoho is throwing.      Devin Williams has even taken up the name "Airbender" meaning himself so we cannot use the same term for the pitch Yoho throws to be fair to Williams(He might even have Airbender Trademarked) .       So if we cannot call Yoho's pitch the same name we fans must come up with a new name and I think this could be a fun exercise for fans to figure out here.

I would love to hear names from everyone out there who took a look at his version of the Airbender and see if we can come up with a name that gives the pitch the respect it deserves alone with its own identity that is not infringing on another player who already dawns that name.       Let me hear what you think that pitch should be named.     I am super excited to hear anyone ideas and there are no dumb ideas!  No fear of being shamed or called silly for your suggestions I just want to hear what everyone can come up with out there.

My horrific and very untalented attempt .          The Yo-Yo ..

Yup I said I was having trouble ..    I know you out there can do so much better than that.   Let me hear it.

I wish they named yoyo tricks because that would be a way into naming this thing but they do not do this.

The Yoho YoYo.   There has to be a better name.  haha.    Well we will come up with something that fits.

The Penis. Because it's drops down and to the right.

From what I’ve learned from tv ads, call it the Peyronie. It bends and is painful.

Clearly, you didn't experience the yo-yo resurgence of 1987... the tricks have names.

Hopefully, the pitch doesn't become known as "walk the dog".

There are some named yo-yo tricks. 1 was named "walking the dog". Call his change-up "The Dog Walker". Lol. I sort of like the name you came up with, "The Yo-Yo".

Why? Because a certain person suggested it? Lol

I think we had this discussion last year in a minor league forum and the one I liked best was "The Air-Ender"

We want his change-up to make batters swing at air, though. The "Air-Ender" could imply batters crush the pitch.

"Breakaway" is a yo-yo trick. How about that one?

How about the "break-a-ball" ala Jerry Augustine...

You could go more Yo Ho Ho than Yo Yo, but the best option there, The Flying Dutchman (being a ghost ship) was clearly already taken.

Love it!  I tried out the Yo Ho Ho and a bottle of Rum as well but it just gets to long to be catchy .     I like where your head is though.

In truth I am just excited to have another guy who has pitch that looks like a Freakshow.   Losing Williams would sting a lot more if Craig Yoho was not in the wings.

Thanks for posting!

Agreed . Air ender is not where you want a pitch to land.    I like the attempt though.

But i say Air ender is a bad description of a pitcher's best pitches.  Plus it is just too much like Airbender.    We can do better .         Air Ender has that Bat hit the ball to end the air but I appreciate that you included it here.

But I love that you are on board with a name now that we grow even closer to him being on an MLB mound.     Thanks for posting !

We gotta figure this out before his first real game action and that time is screaming closer and closer every time he pitches.   We are fastly running out of time because he will be pitching MLB pitches in no time!

I have faith in everyone it will get a name before then.    Go Crew!

I like it .   What does "The Breakaway" trick look like ?  Wait here it is...

But maybe it is too literal when compared to Breaking balls  But that also makes it sound like it fits too.

Jailbreak, Breakaway trick fits the pitch .    It even mimics the side arm delivery of Yoho's Yo Yo.

Thanks for the  post!

I'm not going to worry about naming his pitch until he's officially become a member of the Frosty Boys.

I am hoping to name it before then but I get why you want to wait.

He is destined for great things I believe.  I think we should all be preparing for the Yoho era because it is fast approaching  .  Superstar pitching weapons like that YoYo pitch are rare enough to give them specialized names no matter where they are currently rostered.

Thanks for posting .
