Durbin hitting pretty well in Nashville, performing near his career minor league averages. Monasterio striking out 43% of the time in Nashville and hitting poorly.

It is ok for a fan to dream of something better than what Capra/Dunn have shown at the major league level over their combined 161 career AB.

There are not many data points of optimism for Dunn or Capra but today is likely another opportunity for Dunn.

How about our two "Big Kahuna's: Contreras and Yelach both hitting under .100

They earned the right to be there but Dunn and Capra only have a few months until they get DFAd, unless they figure it out. Small samples matter for fringe players.

I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

Of course it is, all I'm saying is we have 80 something games to go before the trade deadline is here. Let's get our hands dirty and figure this thing out during those games. Throwing our hands up now and saying "well hopefully we get someone at the deadline to fix 3b" is a wild one for me this early.

To bad we can't keep one of the 2 mentioned above and DFA Tyler Black.

What does Tyler Black have to do with Dunn and Capra?

A few months is far different than a few days. If every player who hadn't earned the right was booted for a slow start half the league would be gone before they earned said right.

There needs to be a King Thames version of the bible.

Dunn has good numbers in the minors from 2022-2024, mostly AA. He is 27 now. Baseball Savant sees bat speed, some hard contact, good sprint speed and decent range.

I don’t think Dunn  deserves 500 plate appearances to evaluate performance. Let’s see how he is doing on May 1?

The player that I think is least talented of the three.  I never have liked him, about as much as Joey Wiemer.
