Bottom line, big market teams can retain stars for as long as they want.  Teams like the Brewers cannot.  They can have a fair shot at signing big star free agents.  We cannot.

Brewers have to hope young guys can step up and we squeak out a division win or wild card slot, but they cannot hope to have as fair a shot at true contenders-ship in any way whatsoever given the huge advantage the big markets have.

We didn't trade two of those players, we traded for one of those players and made a bad trade with one of those players, just like we did with Williams.  Again, nobody forced us to trade Williams and nobody forced us to trade him for what we got.

Missing the main point.

I would like it to be more fair.  That doesn't excuse our front office trading our good players for crap.

Our bargaining power is gone because they know we cannot afford our stars.

Misiorowski should be here imo. Let him get his feet wet instead of a guy who should be selling peanuts.

Misiorowski would be up here to walk 5 guys per 9 and get shelled. Kid isn't ready. If you want a prospect advocate for Yoho

I have never seen anything like this.

Brewers have only allowed seven home runs today. Team record is eight home runs allowed in single game.

Murphy better have his kids on this trip for press conference.

It’s hard to laugh when your team is getting clobbered 13-3 … but your post did the trick 👏🙌🏆

Yoho being sent back is everything wrong with Brewers right now. Agreed

There is no rule that says the brewers can’t spend as much as other teams.  If there is show it to me   Every team in mlb can spend what they want

Anyone that constantly complains about this is just proving outsiders right that Milwaukee should not have a team in professional baseball then     So I’m politely saying **** off and deal with it

we literally had a New York team beat in the playoffs but the person you are whining about leaving us gave up a 2 run lead in the ninth     Payroll had nothing to do with it

All the planets have to line up for us to get to the playoffs and win a series.  It just has to be an ordinary day for huge payroll team to get there and do that.
