If Nestor Cortes hasn’t settled on a baby name for his upcoming bundle of joy (and certainly wishing the family the best), Homer Bailey and Homer Bush have a suggestion. So does this guy…

Cannot or won’t. In 2019 and 2022 they did have payroll in the 17-19th range in the league, but last few seasons more like 20-24th.

i like the moves they make, but cannot keep losing players and stay competitive.  This season may be that wake up call (may be for fans or just me). Hopefully management can and will spend into the 15th-18th range in payroll for a season or two like 2018-2019.

We should be able to pay as much as any other team in the league IF it's a fair league.

Conner Thomas - good guy, great story, but not a major league pitcher

I would kindly return him to STL sooner than later

No need to hide him on the roster of a team that wants to compete for playoffs in 2025

I know it hasn't mattered since the first inning but IDK, I would maybe just walk Judge. Just my thoughts on the situation.

If Brewers offer him back why would they say yes? I'm guessing they are good.

Okay - send him to Biloxi … just get him off this roster

Last season we traded Burnes for Joey Ortiz, and a pitcher who is either injured or highly ineffective.

And this offseason we lost Willy Adames for nothing (well a draft pick so I’m excited).

Then traded D. Williams for a guy at AAA and a pitcher who is heading toward the IL.

And we “traded” Shane Smith’s roster spot for Connor Thomas.

Boy that compensatory draft pick (from Adames) better be a future hall of famer.

They can take him back to the minors and work on that slider and everything else that isn't working

Giving up homeruns is frustrating, and it's been a frustrating start to the season.

But if the Brewers were playing defense like the Yankees today, I would be livid.

It's the economics of baseball's fault that we're making bad decisions and trades.

What a gift to find such great perspective in this game
