Spiers’ one start against the Brewers did not go well for him.

Hoskins has 1.571 OPS versus Spiers over 7 PA. Nearly every Brewer has hit Spiers well.

Most home runs allowed by Brewers over nine game span is 24 back in September 1997. Jeff D’Amico served up quite a few. Fun looking at the old box scores, including a 1997 loss to 22 year Jeff Suppan when he was a member of the Red Sox.

Our current Brewers have only allowed 21 home runs in nine games.

I like Patrick … his talent is less than other prospects, but he looks like a “pitcher” 

He was excellent in AAA last season (Triple Crown winner) & may be this year’s version of Tobias Myers

Here’s hoping he stays healthy & performs well during this “injury crisis” with Brewers starting pitching
