Small markets have been getting screwed by this league forever.  I don't see that changing ant time soon either.  Why would the haves want to help the have- nots?

The have-nots need to pull out and form their own league ... the fans are the real losers in all this.

Big-market fans cannot get the same satisfaction they deserve when they win because of the inherit advantage their teams have -AND- small-market fans can never realistically expect to contend for a championship.

Fix it, MLB!

Small-market owners -- get some courage!

Fans -- speak up!

We play over our heads most seasons. Credit to the organization for that. We are long overdue for a 80 win type season that is more reflective of our talent level. This might be that season.

No power. No consistency. Mediocre pitching.

This team could use a spark. Somethings off. Fire Murphy. Why not? He's not good. Please start making calls. I would sell ASAP.. Q has to have value.

The number of Cubs fans have been dominating the Brewers fans just like their team does.  If I were in Wisconsin I wouldn't go to a Cubs game in Milwaukee for all the tea on China.

Does Chinese tea get hit with 145% tariffs?

Sell anything valuable & build for 2027

If Brewers lose tomorrow, it will be their third 4 game losing streak of the season. They had zero 4 game losing streaks in 2024.

Murphy's bullpen management was not good last year but it has regressed to absolutely horrific this season. Call up a long reliever today to replace Yoho and instead you burn leverage arms and middle relief arms down 6-2.

Absolutely horrific? The high leverage arms hadn’t gotten much work lately and only Anderson shouldn’t be available tomorrow. Might as well try to keep the game in reach

The two least worked leverage arms didn't even throw today (Megill and Koenig) so the whole "people needed work" line falls pretty flat. A manager needs to be worried about 162 games not keeping a game that never looked competitive to a 4 run deficit.

Only 8 runs in the last 4 games won't get you many wins either.

Two runs in three games will get you even less.

I am starting to think we should shift Turang to SS, Durbin to 2B, and send Ortiz down to AAA. Hopefully in a few weeks he gets hitting and we can survive with Mone at 3B, maybe Dunn for Capra and sign a 3B off the scrapheap.

Can we get our 2020 MVP, Jedd Gyorko, back?  He played 3B for us!

A small market team that is near .500 firing the reigning NL manager of the year 34 games into the year? This is bad, even for Game Threads.

I didn’t say they needed work, I said they hadn’t gotten much work. Giving Mears and Uribe a lower leverage inning off a couple days rest isn’t jeopardizing this team

I would start with firing our new hitting coach Al LeBoeuf.

I keep seeing small market in everyone excuse for why they stink. That's exactly what Mark was hoping for. He's winning.

Only if it gets momentum and the fans here and in other small markets get fed up and stop supporting MLB altogether!  It's about time!

No, it's just a consideration as to why a team would prefer to not pay two managers.

Mark A has a current net worth of 1.9 billion dollars he could fire Murphy and still afford to sign a 3rd baseman. My point is don't fall into the we can't win because we are a small market. Maybe the decisions are harder but if you couldn't afford a team they would sell.

Who says we can't win? The point of my post was that even discussing Murph being fired at this point in the season is dumb.
