9-3 T-Rats trail now. Sky Carp have scored 9 unanswered and the T-Rats are playing lifeless. And the crowd is lifeless. And, the ump just will not call a strike on the low outer edges. It's uncanny.

Ugh.

Shuckers more entertaining, but to quible they have had two caught stealing tonight, Pratt nabbed at third, and now Spain gunned down at 2nd.

Boeve draws a walk and 2 outs, bringing the heart of the order up.

9-3 T-Rats trail. Sanchez worked 1 1/3 IP, 6 H, 6 ER, 3 BB, and 1 K. Woooooof.

AND, RHP Yerlin Rodriguez comes to the dish. Two men on with one out. My goodness. This could get monumental. 😅

Great throws and tags on those two CS.

Meanwhile anybody and everybody is grabbing bases on Miller and Diaz.

Like absolute clockwork, (I am in pain), Rodriguez comes in and pitch one is off speed about three feet up and out of the zone and off the glove of the sliding Diaz to the backstop. WP #1. Uncanny. Runners advance to 2B and 3B. He walks him on four consecutive pitches.

With two outs, it's walk (Boeve), infield single (Pratt), walk (Wilken) and bases juiced with Lara up.

And ball 4, Lara walks in a run, it is now 8-2

Meanwhile, Yerlin walked in a run. He just gave up a bloop down the RF line that lands in front of Perez. It is 12-3. SO, that's Yerlin with 1 WP, 2 BB, 1 single. He mercifully escapes with a dribbler up the 1B line Diaz gathers. This game is painful.

OK, I'm going to focus on getting ahead of these next two reports before my wife leaves town for five days. Solo farm dad upcoming. I'm going to be quite a bit less active tomorrow than I normally am on most nights. Let's hope the Shuckers and ACL Crew pull this out. I have no faith in the Timber Rattlers to make anything meaningful of tonight. They are playing absolutely lifeless baseball.

The teams from up north as playing uninspired (Milwaukee and Appleton), while the southern clubs (Nashville, Carolina and Biloxi) are playing more inspired, and the Arizona team is just playing wild sandlot games

Spain with a great catch in right. Then a ground out. And Stovall the #9 hitter gets on base again.

But Petersen gets another grounder to end the 6th.

(C Kevin Garcia just homered. 8-0 ACL Crew. Mercedes dealt a 2 K scoreless first. Noice!)

Adams! Smoked it to deep left 105 EV, 411 feet.

Now 9-1.  The young hitters are doing their thing (Pratt, Wilken, Adams with HRs)

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the first class out of the new Dominican academy looks to be the real deal from top to bottom.

I’d honestly be ecstatic if any class going forward was even half as good as this one.

Manfredi on, and he is sharp to start. 4 pitch strike out, and then another strike out. Let's get outta this inning....  and he Ks him. Strikes out the side. I mean when the team is going, it is so sweet to watch.

Meanwhile AZ Brew Crew now up 11-0!!

EDIT: I mean it's the second inning in ACL game, and the top 4 hitters of the Brew Crew have been up 3 times already, with Quero with 3 walks and Anderson 1-1 with 2 walks.

This is the best LHP Mark Manfredi has looked in about a calendar year. He struck out batter one on a 96 mph heater on the outer black (lefty). He struck out batter two on an inside slider looking. Maybe he just needs 9-2 leads to get comfy?

Meanwhile, the ACL Crew lead the ACL Dodgers 11-0. Mercedes has only pitched an inning! Amazing.

Mercedes, after sitting for a spell, faces some trouble via single; BB; HB; WP. BUT, because he has 'stuff', he escapes unscathed. 2 K. Pop out to 2B. Crew still lead 11-0 as a result headed to the 3rd.

So Biloxi’s hitting coach came to the Brewers this offseason from the Yankees org. The Yankees have a good reputation for hitter development and Biloxi currently look like the Bronx Bombers of the Southern League. Let’s keep this guy around.

The road teams are trying to pile it on in the top of 9th. Beloit has added 3 runs to extend their lead over TRats 15-3.

Biloxi scores one and now has the bases loaded, up 10-2

I was literally just thinking about this after the Shuckers came into the 9th leading 9-2 and work the Biscuits pitcher to get the bases loaded and another run crossed. 11 walks tonight as well as the power surge. It's a real consideration.

Also...maybe get another Yankess guy at High-A Wisconsin? And a pitching Witch Doctor? Just some thoughts.

Mercedes gave up a lead-off dub and then his first runs against him so far with an immediate 2-run blast. BUT, he struck out three more to end the inning after an Ortuno error. My goodness. That's 3 IP, 7 K. This young man obviously has stuff that will likely travel to Zebulon in due time in 2025.

Alastre ws pitching in the top of 9 for Wisconsin and he was relieved by Guilarte now.  Things have really unraveled for the T-Rats the past few weeks.

I see Alastre and Guilarte combined for their best collective RHP Dikember Sanchez impression.

And, I see Yerlin struck out 5 in 2 2/3 IP. Good gods, I just do not emphatically get it with Yerlin. Raw stuff for eons. Absolutely zero consistency and control pitch-to-pitch.
