A trip to Pittsburgh wouldn’t be complete without a couple of rain delays and tonight might deliver on that.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I figured this would be the move but now confirmed

Wish Payamps well……my guess is somebody will pick him up and I won’t be surprised if he figures it out again…….just couldn’t find consistency this season and the brewers needed the roster spot

I think the better way to,put this is that a guy gets to make his first MLB start against the Brewers. .

Feel pretty confident that Payamps will give a team quality innings this year, but this was the right move. There wasn’t enough upside there to continue to eat up a roster spot

A team with money like the Mets who know him well or the Phillies will gladly take a shot with Payamps who can still be a good pitcher despite his early season struggles.

I agree. I bet Stearns has already reached out.

Yeah, he just couldn't get it together out there.

Sure feels good to get out to an early 3 run lead

I'm not sure how to feel.  ;-)

Yelich came into the game with the highest homer percentage on flyballs (7 of 18) in the league. He has top quartile exit velocity but can't help but pounding the ball into the ground. I know he's never been some kind of launch angle king but you'd still think with just a little adjustment with his swing path, his numbers ought to improve quite a bit.

This year’s Brewers don’t pass the eye test - something is missing

I honestly believe this is a .500 team … even after our injured players return

A “down” year would not be so bad as long as we don’t sell off prospects for stopgap players to help us squeak into the playoffs

From my vantage point - there are far too many NL teams that are significantly better than the 2025 Brewers

I hope we hold onto our future players & plan for a World Series appearance in 2027
