Civale better than expected. Now the fun starts with bullpen roulette

Of course now Murphy let's the starter go and now he's in the soup

Nothing positive or negative tonight, yet. Civale has been effective.

Back to back innings with a leadoff double - playing with fire

Hope Ashby can get out of the inning scoreless

Runners can still advance on hit by pitches.

Pretty sure the only way the runners advance is if they're forced to buy the movement of the batter runner.

Far as I know it's a dead ball situation and they're only entitled to the base they had at the time of the pitch unless forced to advance.

Twice in one week, we’ve allowed a runner to score from 3rd on a passed ball / wild pitch

That seems like a lot

one broke a scoreless tie & the other lost an extra innings game that we led late

They definitely don't advance with an open base. So a guy on 1st would go to 2nd but a guy on 3rd would be held there.

Awful … he’s washed

If he was a free agent after this year based on his current performance, he'd be looking at a non-roster invite to spring training.

You have to start pinch hitting for Yelich against lefties. If you want to win

Feelings be dammed. Something has to be done with this situation.

What a significant miscalculation this past offseason by Arnold regarding the Brewers offense being major league quality

This offense is offensive- & not in a good way

Joey Gallo with less strikeouts

That a boy Yelich. Yet another failure. Hoskins with a little dinky fly ball. This pathetic offense is hard to watch. Hopfully they can keep it at one and get a couple in the ninth. Right now .500 would be very welcome.

Who do we expect more of in 2025, Ashby or Hall?

I hope both perform well

Our other relievers are exhausted

I believe Hall has more upside - but I think both can be excellent for the next few years if healthy

Sorry I failed to answer your question

I expect nothing from Ashby. So…Hall?

Given the nature of Ashby's original injury the fact he is up to the velo he's currently at is pretty remarkable. I think Hall has way higher expectations. Also due to the fact Ortiz has been a dud.

Thanks for nothing Yeli lol, Yelich is up to a 7 wRC+ against lefties. Richest contract in Brewers history is nothing more than a platoon hitter now. Sad

But he’s a swell guy
