This site has timed out on me more times in the last week than it has in the 20 years I've been on here.  Anyway, really like what we did on day one, particularly the Fischer and Morrison picks.

It was slow for me last night. I am guessing we had super heavy traffic related to the draft. Is that right, @Brock Beauchamp?

I don't recall specifics of BF, I saw it was at 400-ish users for almost the entire draft, but our sites capped out at about 3,500 simultaneous users from what I saw.

It appeared it wasn't the number, so much as how long it was sustained at that level. We were over 2,000 simultaneous users for about three hours. Then, the SQL server finally tipped over.

Kade Anderson already signed as the 3rd pick, like 700k underslot. I wonder how much Bremner signs underslot at 2, that was a surprise, I thought he could be there at 20 for us.

Priester already has 0.9 WAR for the Brewers, which is a good trade for pick #33.  Many draft picks (even as high as #33) don't even make it to the majors (and I say that being someone that really likes the mlb draft).

Patrick was great. Got hired by Perfect Game & for years after still would come back to give draft insight. Was always a favorite poster. Toby ran the Top 50 ratings (I’m 95% sure).

@colbyjack still views the board I believe, but he hasn't posted in a couple of years... maybe he'll be nice and give us a few post-draft nuggets! 😏

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

@Jake McKibbin I don't know who is responsible for updating the draft tracker but the profile for Jacob Morrison is the report for Isaiah Ragsdale. Isaiah Ragsdale's scouting report is blank.

@Brock Beauchamp  can we take a look at this?

I'm not entirely sure but we'll get it updated asap!

That's me, juggling too many draft trackers. Thanks for the heads up, I will fix now!

Some pitch shapes on Jacob Morrison, the whole thread is a fascinating read!

Seems like the curveball and cutter play far better as a North/South shape and he finds commanding them a whole lot easier.

More distinct difference between the sinker too, and with some big fastball ride, I'm a good fan of this whole pick

20. Andrew Fischer, - A The Brew crew are often the "what I would do as a GM" team and they got another one of "my guys" here. I do think Fischer ultimately plays 1B/LF not 3B...that's fine. I feel extremely confident in the game power. If you told me I had to pick one guy in this class to hit 25+ HR in a year, but he has to hit enough to earn the AB, this is my pick. I think Fischer is a good not great hitter, akin to Ike Irish the pick before, but I think his power is a tick above that and plays above it's raw power due to the launch angles he consistently puts out. Guys like Burke, Bitonti, Wilkes, Adams...I personally have below Fischer because I trust Fischer's hit tool significantly more. I think this was good value and fit and I really like the bat in a class where I tend to be lower than most on the college guys.

32. Brady Ebel, - A I find myself a lot higher on Ebel than most. I'm a huge swing mechanics enthusiast in preps and Ebel has one of the cleaner set ups and paths in the class. It's a particularly smooth stroke with no wasted motion and a bat path that should lead to consistent hard line drives with more sweet spot angles than most. As an athlete, Ebel is more advanced than he is freakish, but he looks worse by proxy of playing next to one of the best prep defenders I've ever seen. I think Ebel can play some SS but would be plenty functional at 3B/2B and could play some OF. Overall, I see a potential 60 hit bat who should have 50 power at maturity in his 6'3 frame and potential for a bit more if he chooses to swing a bit more for impact. I'm more than happy to take that at pick 32. I see somewhere between a poor mans Colt Emerson or a rich man's JD Dix (who I also loved).
