My perspective is prospect clutch until a guy is truly blocked in AAA by an MLB player, because odds are they aren’t going to make it anyway.  So don’t worry about where your prospect lay, especially those below AA.

I was hoping for an advanced, middle of the order bat for a corner outfield spot.  He’s got the bat profile that is exciting but I just don’t know if he’s got the mobility for the OF.  He’s supposedly got the arm for it, though.

Burke is a !B, nothing more.  There is no chance in hell he moves to the OF, so something has to be done.  Can Fischer stick at 3B, can he be moved to the OF?

It's a good problem to have, and I am firmly in the camp against trading Burke.  FIRMLY!

I love Burke. Being here in Appleton I've gotten to watch many at bats now ... just curious if the Brewers think Fischer is going to be a 1b ... he will be right on Burke's heels pushing him. Hopefully he gets a chance to show he can stick at 3b and this is a non issue.

Did anyone see that pick coming?

Kiley McDaniel mentioned him as a possibility here in his mock draft

Abel is super interesting, probably overlooked at Corona. His dad is a dodger coach so he know how to be a professional. He is super young and has a lot of projectablity to fill out and grow. He was introduced as a SS which I like at his age. Being rated a bit lower I would guess he won't sign over slot maybe at slot if he plays hardball.

A really cool thing about being a Brewer fan in Asia is waking up to an 8-1 Freddy four hitter and new draft picks. It feels like Christmas morning :)

Do we get another comp pick next year if he doesn't sign?

Bauer was who I wanted here. He may slip...

Yeah, I'm enamored with Bauer and have been for quite awhile but his inability to throw strikes certainly appears to be knocking him further down the boards.
