Ginger liked a tweet I had saying Lake Central is just the Brewers domestic academy

Ginger liked your tweet?! You've been touched by a baseball angel. Print that tweet. Frame it in gold. Shine a spotlight. Pray.

I read it as "Uh-Piss-Kuh-Pay" ... which would make me like him 4x better. Can someone confirm how to say his name?

Rounds 4-20 in the MLB Draft is where you just let Ginger cook.

See the strategy forming. Lake Central kids give Brewers their real number & price themselves out with all other teams to keep feeder system rolling!

Man she has been on an absolute HEATER of late. The Brewers know they can't send her to the PNW region because she would likely start a wildfire with her output and work.

There is the new Cooper Pratt (probably can't play SS though)

I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

Tod Johnson’s staff has shown they don’t care about the injuries. If they like the arm & fits their model, they will bring you in. One it saves money early on. Two confidence that they can get you healthy & on track with their rehab program, Then let that arm talent shine. You are getting a 2nd round talent cheaper & in the 5th. Great value when you have high functioning rehab & pitching lab to accomplish the goal

Dickinson a Jr ... will this "fall" in the draft send him back to school for a Sr year?

Unlikely unless the Brewers offer him a ridiculously low value

There is no financial advantage to go back for the senior season.  Would likely be a "slot" signing unless the Brewers "pushed him down".  At this point, I would say Fischer and Ebel may be around 75% slot, but after that everyone may be around slot.  Episcope is a 4YR sophomore, but his age and injury history may take away all of that leverage.

6-185 Daniel Dickinson SS (LSU)

80 in MLB's board

Great Article here! https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6476189/2025/07/08/daniel-dickinson-mlb-draft-lsu-baseball/

Kid played every game for a month with a broken hamate bone this season & still produced barely being able to grip a bat. Walk on to smaller more local college & worked up to being a leader for National Champs LSU. This is a Murphy kid!

Had surgery right after CWS. Should be good to go not long after signing. Will be 22 next season (first full season in pro ball would be 23 if he returned next year). So unless lowballed, coming back probably won’t help greatly.

Sheesh playing through a broken hamate bone is crazy

I wonder if that contributed to his slide.

Sorry to be nerdy, but:

Episcopos is Greek from 'epi' meaning 'over' and scope 'meaning 'to see'. It liteally means 'over see'.

The Latin word 'Bishop' comes from this, as a bishop is an overseer of the church.

So we have a Bishop (Letson), and Episcope. And a Priest(er).
