With so little power in the lineup, I understand the decision to attempt stolen bases … but recently, we’ve not done so well.

Is the change with our first base coach partly responsible for the downturn this season? I don’t think we’ve lost any speed.

Berry is one of the best in the game and is now paid like it.

I fear the Brewers will being back Carlos Santana for the home stretch to defensively improve first base. He’s not been very good with his bat this season as he nears age 40. We do need s9meone over there who can both hit & play quality defense.

76% before this game.

They usually say that anything less than 80% is a net negative.

And the Brewers have been significantly worse than that lately to drag their season percentage down to 76.

Andrew Vaughn is our man!  Believe it!

Contreras is giving i quit vibes. Lack of hustle out of the box. I just don't understand this situation. An injured player playing a demanding position who you need if you are going to win is being pushed out there needlessly. Can cost them the season.

If Haase can't play for two weeks we have bigger problems than I thought.

The Marlins have really been putting the pressure on the Brewers in these two games. They seem to have men on base early in almost every inning while the Brewers have piled up weak ABs.

Unlike this week’s national media - the Miami Marlins are not impressed by the scrappy Brewers & their hot streak / “best record in baseball” … they came here to win.

The Brewers need to wake up or they will limp into the Cubs series off a series loss to the young Marlins.

This has the feel,of a sweep like the ones the Marlins put on the Giants and DBacks in a recent road trip.
