We didn't hit at all on Friday. We hit the minimum amount yesterday (and pitched poorly). Today, we haven't hit at all again, plus a little bad luck.

Frustrating, but what are you going to do? This was definitely a "trap" series, but hopefully they can scrap one of those 5-hit innings and take it and then win a Cubs series.

Functionally, there's a big emotional difference between winning today and not, but not much of an actual one, what with 8 games left against the Cubs a solid lead in the WC standings.

Well, they fell in the trap then.

Turang playing shortstop? VERY interesting....

Turang at short and Durbin and 2nd makes so much sense if there is a bopper at 3B instead of Siegler...ill be very pleasantly surprised if thats more than a random Sunday late game lineup anomaly after typical head scratching punch hit decisions

Chourio is single handedly keeping us in the game. Unfortunately, he needs to hit them over the wall for this team to score.

And then he does that. Game is probably over with that.

So the player who is far worse for his career and still has an OPS 50 points lower and a batting average 20 points lower than William this year despite William’s struggles is going to be a better option?

Seems like more of an emotional move than a rational one.

Good thing Contreras hit it to the right side there. Keep him in there.
