Honestly what is Stearns and Counsell thinking? Sure they are rich but if they go on and win it all just imagine how much more impact it would have winning here. In this market with this system.

Stearns grew up a Mets fan. He probably has his dream job. Counsell 🤷‍♂️

It is not a sure thing the Brewers achieve similar success this season with Stearns and Counsell.

They were probably thinking it would be much much easier with a big payroll to work with and treated like royalty by the fans and media instead of staying in Milwaukee and having to feel like your shoveling coal every day to make things run and work properly. The Brewers organization deserves  more credit than what they are actually getting.

UCrazy night at the ballpark and it had little to do with the game.

We left after the seventh inning because it was raining so hard and there was no indication on the radar that it would be letting up. So, I thought there might be problems driving home.

It was raining so hard it was hard to see where you were going. Fortunately we made it home safely.

Some of the pictures of people trying to leave on Brewers way are pretty stunning. Some cars that got stuck in deep water are still there this morning.

At our house we had torrential rain from about 7:30 until 3 AM Our powerful sump pumps couldn’t keep up so we have water in the basement. We’ll have some cleanup to do once the water stops coming  in

Yes I read, THE RAIN CAME DOWN SO HARD AND SO FAST HERE AT MILLER PARK WAY, JUST OUTSIDE OF AMERICAN FAMILY FIELD, THAT CARS WERE PARTUALLY BURIED UNDER ALL THE WATER. Also a lot of water in the basement is not a good thing.

Juan Soto makes about half of the entire Brewers payroll.

Nice seeing the K to end the game.

I read that he got a 60 million signing bonus, so his total compensation for this year is higher than the Brewer payroll

Who? Seems like we did what almost every team does, a minor move here and a minor move there. The team who made the biggest move was Seattle and they got squat out of it so far.

BTW, the Mariners also picked up Josh Naylor at the deadline, and the Mariners are 9-1 since the deadline.

That ain’t squat.

I know of another team that is 9-0 since the deadline, so their approach seems to have worked for them as well.

Never said the Brewers weren’t doing well.

Just addressing your inaccurate statement.

I said the Mariners made the biggest move of all at the deadline (acquiring Suarez), and have gotten squat out of the biggest move.

Suarez has a ,357 OPS and -0.5 WAR with Seattle. I would say that statement was not inaccurate at all.
