If Jackson blows out his hammy tonight I might lose my mind.   Also, if Yelich is fine his ass needs to be in the lineup.   I’m concerned his back has flared up.

So it sounds like both Chourio and Yelich are dealing with something. No reason to have Yelich out against a very hittable RHP.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

If past history is any indication Yelich will be out for 4 or 5 days while the Brewers play down a man and then he’ll go on the IL.

Nice referral from Adam McCalvy. Now let’s win.

Yeah, if you watch the ABs instead of simply looking at the stats, you can see that even with the lack of results he doesn't really fit the typical 'He Sucks!!!!' type of stuff you hear & read. That said, I'm surprised he's out there as often as he is. They have post-season roster decisions to make as to the last couple spots which may have something to do with it.

Of course.  Hopefully this doesn’t turn out to be what it almost always seems to be.  Sick of injuries derailing the season

This is the September pennant race lineup? I am not Rys Hoskins fan but it is a slap in the face to keep him in the minors against his old team while Bauers gives away 4 more ab. Just release the guy if he can't beat out Bauers. I'm not even going to dignify Siegler in the lineup.

Ooof. I’ve been trying to psychologically compensate for my innate Brewers fan pessimism as hard as possible after years of being conditioned for letdowns. No other team in franchise history has been this good this late, and I was ready to fully let my guard down.

But Miller toast? Megill rehabbing? Chourio and Yelich both balky at best? 4 out of 5 starting pitchers barely scraping 5 innings an appearance at best while the bullpen looks like an infantry deployment at Stalingrad?

That object falling from the sky is starting to look an awful lot like the other shoe dropping.

Tis but a flesh wound.

Seigler makes a great play to start the game, can’t come up with a ball 99% of 3bs field but then makes a good throw to first to get out of the mess.  Seigler ain’t it.

Did he get credited with an error? Looked routine to me. Why is he playing 3rd?

Looks like officially ruled a single. And I don't know.

No error.  It seems like If a fielder has to move they don’t give them an error anymore
