If the Packers have one more trade left in them before the deadline I hope it's for some help at the corner

Yeah... they are, but Parsons is taking up two OL. Packers have to be able to get home when they're getting 1 on 1 across the LOS outside Parsons(and one of the two doubling is easily their best OL).

LVN pretty much invisible so far.

Williams!!!

How are you paying Parsons 47M a year and he’s not even out on the field on 4th down in a likely passing situation?

Well, he just got some pressure on a 3rd and 7 and Goff had to rush the throw!

And he beat Sewell AGAIN!!!

2 TOs and about 60 yards to go to get in scoring position?

I disagree.  He has strong run support and even dropped into coverage at least once (and made the tackle).  Neither LVN nor Gary have made much on pass rushes, but that doesn't mean he is playing poorly.

He was also there to flush Goff out on that incompletion to start that last set of downs.

I do NOT like that play call there. Had a minute and two TOs... but, I get it.

The funny thing to me is that Pennel keeps getting beat inside (along with strong hands by Parsons). You'd think he'd compensate and at least make him run around you.

Man, Musgrave moves down the field like a sloth. Couldn’t believe he didn’t pick up the 1st on that.

That yardage paint is really hard to run over!  They shouldn't put so many coats on it.

Well, that was a really nice first half of the season.  With so little time together in the preseason and several key offensive players with injuries, I'm very pleased to see how well they've played together.  Not much on the run game yet, but still, I'll take it.  Defense has also been solid and good impact from Parsons.

Given how they've started the last couple years. The blowout vs the Saints, the bad loss to the Vikings, they did beat the Bears, but then a sloppy start vs Philly last year... I was not real confident entering this game.

Goff is 13/16 for 75 yards...so even when they're getting 1st downs, they're rallying to the ball.

Parsons, Cooper and Williams made a really good play, but otherwise, the defense has just been sound and they HAVEN'T been blowing assignments... so aside from wishing they'd have been more aggressive at the end of the half(and that was inside their own 20)... I'm pleasantly surprised.

1st drive of the 2nd half is going to be HUGE. I suspect Detroit will want to come out and establish the run again. Gotta shut them down and then... put 'em away!

If I heard the score was 17-3 at the half & saw that Green Bay only had 11 yards rushing & 10 minutes on offense - I would assume we were trailing not winning

We must rush the ball better & take time off the clock in the 2nd half if we want to win the game
