The last two Philly games and today the bottom 4 in the order including subs is something like 1-29.  Ironically, Bauers has the only hit.

I mean, I don't think it matters THAT much, but at this point it seems like a clearly awful decision to have Bauers on this roster over Hoskins. This org makes so many great decisions I'm almost comforted to see them botch one so badly.

I’m not advocating for Bauers. Just pointing that nobody has delivered a big hit or RBI the last couple,of days.

The reason Bauers gets his fair share of grief is that most players in this lineup are good players who are going through a rough stretch. 

Bauers is not a good player, has never been a good player, and yet continues to receive a large share of playing time. That’s the difference.

Will I be frustrated if Hoskins goes 0 for 4 with 2 K’s in his first game back? Of course, but I’ll at least understand that he has had success in the big leagues and playing him is an understandable thing.
