If they hold on to win this game the Brewers will improve to 8 W - 4 L in Misio’s 12 starts this year.

Getting bent out of shape about his IP total (when every out he records establishes a new career high) is seriously missing the forest for the trees.

I appreciate your opinion but I completely disagree with you

Our bullpen is weary … we need starters to cover innings … period

For me, it's the fact that I want him to be available and good in October. Not saying he won't be, but I'm pretty concerned.

For me, it's about making sure he's successful and his head is in a good place going forward.

I don’t know if Miz is really THAT important for a playoff run.    I mean I don’t know what his role would be.    Coming in a 3-2 game in the 8th inning is a different animal in the nlcs for example.   What is important is finishing out this regular season without overworking our good relievers that we do actually need

The Score is 9-1 also. Best relievers not needed.

Yes … my point all along was he needs to pitch six innings since he has a big lead

Not sure why you felt the need to tell me the score 🤔

He could be, though.  You often get short starts in the postseason.  I can envision bringing in Miz in the middle for 2 innings of gas and filth.  He could be a big difference maker for us.

The bullpen is hardly weary today.

Neither Rodriguez nor Yoho have even pitched since being recalled. Payamps hasn’t pitched in two days.

Not quite Chafin proof, but pretty darned close.

Hopefully it is Rodriguez proof since he will likely get some innings here shortly

Miz is on a roll … I hope he gets the sixth before calling it a day

Miz seems to pitch much better with a big lead

You are correct … all the weary arms are on the IL because Murphy overused them

The less talented players you referenced are replacements for them

9-1  Milwaukee is the score.🤑

You guys realize the guy is a damn rookie and he needs to learn and develop. Letting him do that in the majors is way more important than letting him dominate the minors. He needs to learn adversity and failing. Yelich even said his favorite start of his was when he got hit hard

Miz is different man. The number of pitching prospects we've had in our team's history that are as special as him can be counted on one hand. We are not risking his arm to save Jared Koenig's, respectfully.

If we are that worried about the bullpen then start Tobias tomorrow and follow him up with Carlos and tell those two they get all nine innings regardless of what happens.

Patrick? Sure. Hall? Sure. Myers? Sure. Use them. Ask for more.

Keep Miz on whatever program you have installed for him with reasonable adjustments given this season's circumstances.

If Miz gets hurt from overuse this season and it affects his future,.. it will be an unforgivable malpractice from this front office.

I agree. I think he can get us some important outs. This will also get him some playoff experience, which will pay huge dividends down the line.

Unlike the majority of my forum friends - I’m thrilled that Miz is pitching in the sixth inning. The big lead is apparently what he needed to relax & trust his talent & ability. He looks great these last three innings. And he’s been a valuable team member by giving the bullpen rest. Well done, young rookie flamethrower. 💪🙌👏🎉

Just as I had hoped

Apparently, the Brewers value my perspective more than others on this board who wanted him out of the game earlier
