I'm not feeling particularly good about any of our starters going into the playoffs.

I’m fine. Priester should be good. Peralta should be good. Woodruff should be good.

There will be more days off, so it’s a little different animal and they can afford to have quick hooks if things start going south.

The Brewers always seem to struggle against Mikolas just like they used to against Quintana. I know they have gotten to him a few times, but more than not it has been like this.

Funny how some teams struggle against certain pitchers.

I remember back in the '80s or '90s a pitcher for Kansas City royals that the Brewers couldn't beat if their life depended on it.

Vaughn is .364/.417/.455 in his last 7 games, so it’s not like he’s been scuffling.

Unlike Bauers, Vaughn has shown long-term stretches of being capable of carrying this offense when he’s on.

Seems like even when he's not going great Vaughn seems to contribute. Seems to draw a fair number of walks and generally doesn't throw away at bets.

Cubs were threatening big against Houser, but a double play by Castro snuffs that out.

I can’t stress enough how bad he has been for the Cubs since they acquired him.

For sure Vaughn doesn't swing at bad pitches, he has a good eye at the plate.

I was wondering if Ashby was going to find a way into this.

He'll get it done. And then after the game, he'll cut the grass and count the gate receipts.
