The guy made up some stat that his hitting 260 with the big dipper in the northern sky on Tuesdays. Who cares!! He is up twice a night with the bases loaded and can barely put the ball in play. The ridiculous defense of Ortiz has to stop. If you are Mrs Ortiz i apologize. You son isn't any good and should be replaced.

I guess we’re to the point where you are just going to be condescending with more strawman arguments because you got nothing left.

Feel free to have the last word.

This from baseball reference on Ortiz and “Clutch” is maybe the best I can do for stats without expending a lot of effort.

Considering he’s got 105 hits on the year and 51 are from while the Brewers are ahead, I’d say there isn’t much difference for him. He’s been bad regardless of the situation, and since he’s getting a lot of ABs with runners on, that’s bad for the team. I don’t know if the numbers need much more parsing than that.

I’m starting to get nervous about how so many of the Brewers hitters have looked for the last few weeks.

They aren’t hitting many HRs and have too many hitters scuffling to string together hits

The ghost of 2021 is starting to haunt me. Is this lineup going to be able to score runs when faced with the best pitchers on the best teams in playoff games?

You are defending the indefensible. Just stop.

The offense is worrisome. Lukewarm going into the postseason.

If we can get good pitching, I think this is the kind of game we'll see in the postseason. Winnable but close.

I can’t believe I stayed awake to watch this Packers-like end of game meltdown. Now, even Ortiz proves to be human defensively. Since he has nothing to offer offensively, that is unacceptable. We need to win this frickin’ game.

Don’t insult the Crew with that comparison. This ain’t even close to that.

He has the lowest BB% on the team. It's been really disappointing this season.

Yeah.  He's 21.  It'll come.  Sure would have been nice to see this year though.
