Baseball is slow and boring but we went through some commercials and a half inning and one of the football games had a little over 30 seconds come off the game clock and a total of 1 play.

Smith left second, so if Frelick actually caught the ball he had to tag up.  He just didn't realize that it wasn't a catch.

I'm talking about the runner on 3rd.

I totally get the other guys being confused, but HE should have scored either way. Very glad he had a little brain fart though.

Again we are facing one of the top pitchers in the game. Snell made the Phillies look foolish also. Just need to keep it tied and try to get to the Dodgers pen

He's closest to the ump in the OF who signaled no catch right away.

If we're not going to hit Snell, at least make him work.  We're doing a pathetic job at both.

That’s because he’s throwing non stop strikes lmao

Hard as he really isn't throwing much out of the zone. There's not a lot we can do right now other than hope it's 0-0 when he has to sit down.

This is just brutal offensively tonight.

We really need to find a way to steal this one … we are 0-0 in a game that we could easily be down 4-0.

That was absolutely the weirdest (and most beautiful) double play I have ever seen.  It took the replay to show me that Wild Bill got the second out by running down the 3rd base.  AAAAAAAMazing.

Hail Frelick!

Hail Contreras!

And Durbin for motioning Contreras to come touch 3rd

Maybe some of our lefties should bunt... Or at least take it the other way.  We keep pulling off or rolling over on outside pitches.

Maybe Ortiz will charge the mound?

Yeah... but you have 45K people screaming and going nuts, you're probably not looking at the extra ump who isn't normally there.

You SHOULD be or you should be getting more help from your coaches, but.. realistically, you're not.

It's all moot if the Brewers can't keep the Dodgers off the board and get some runners on themselves.

Based on what?  We look like a JV baseball team against him so far.  No fight at all...

No, if it's a juggled ball, you can leave as soon as it touches the glove. He didn't need to go back and tag up there. The second the ball touches leather, the runner can go.

That was a big error on the Dodgers.

I get the other guys being confused, but the guy on 3rd has zero excuses.

If ever there was a time for the 3rd base coach to help out a runner, it was there.  He should have been screaming at him to just run home.
