The Dodgers have scored 3.3 runs per game in this series. If you had told me that, I would have liked our chances and definitely wouldn’t have expected us to be down 3-0.

This is, purely, on the ineptitude of the lineup. I don’t want to hear about the pitching choices. They did their job other than Tuesday. This lineup did not, any day. 1 run per game. That will not win.

I say again, I wish the Brewers were still in the American League.

The Dodgers will only go out and get more all-star talent this offseason.  There's still a few positions on their team that are not at elite level that need shoring up.

Maybe should have just started the game with Misiorowski

I said that 2 days ago.

Huh?

Look this sucks no doubt, still super proud of the boys, but do we have anything realistic coming in 26? AAA roster looks like a wasteland frankly and that's concerning, obviously plenty of interesting talent at AA and below.

Pathetic showing again - granted vs. the best team money can buy. No shot.

Every team in baseball is the best team that that money can buy, depending on how much the owner is willing to spend.

hate to note the obvious, you guys are toast

Thanks, Captain Obvious!

And thanks, MLB, for the possibility of a team outspending another by at least 3 times!

I'm often told these are the golden years of Brewers baseball.

Were you around between let's call it 1988 and 2008? Bc if you were this is a hell of a lot better than that.

OK. We're cooked.

Takeaways:

Yelich stunk a lot, which gives me dread.

Misiorowski did NOT stink, which gives me much hope.

Starting Ashby stunk, which... Mehhh. No surprise.  We just don't have enough pitching.

The Dodgers have better players and especially pitchers.

AT LEAST WE DIDN'T LOSE TO THE CUBS!

Oh yes. It was a time to love baseball with absolutely NO expectation that the team would play meaningful games in September and October.

They are!

We cannot help it that MLB is unfair!

We overcome a ton year in and year out!

The Brewers are great at what they do with what they have!

Can they attach a chin strap to Frelick's helmet so it's not sliding off every time he swings?

He just needs a haircut so he doesn't look like a sissy.

Completely disappearing offense in the NLCS. The question whether the Brewers type of offense could produce runs in the playoffs was a concern, since it's difficult to string multiple hits and walks together. Figured that they might put some runners on, but not get the RBI-producing hit. But this type of no-show offense, basically getting no baserunners at all, was unexpected.

It was nice seeing the sad faces of the cubs fans and well-compensated manager.
