Niners go into the defending champ's house and win. How did they possibly do that with all the injuries they sustained this season???

Quite simply because they’re better than the Packers. 😁

The Bears are going to win the Super Bowl, aren't they?

They'll score 40 points on SF and I believe the Rams will win in Seattle and give HFA back to the Bears. The Rams are not the same team in January outside that they are indoors.

I am now forced to root for SF which is just about as bad as it gets. Or I get "lucky" and get to root for Seattle. Disgusting. The Rams are benign to me but 3/4 in the NFC field can be launched in into the sun.

Really hope the AFC wins this year.

As a Bears fan I wish but there is no way they are getting out of the NFC.  Maybe they steal one more game but the defense is going to doom them at some point.  Offensively I think the Bears will be fine there really isn't a team other than the Seahawks that have a defense that will be a problem for the Bears.  Maybe the 49ers if they were healthy.

Rams in Chicago next week should be interesting.  If the Rams play like they did against the Panthers a team they should have easily destroyed the Bears may move into the NFCCG.  I think the Seahawks will beat the 49ers and then win the NFCCG against either the Rams or Bears.

It does seem that just about everything is going the Bears’ way.

I forgot the Rams are 5 not SF. I was thinking SF was going to Chicago next week.

The Rams are a different team outdoors especially in a place like Chicago that is about the worst place they can be.

Seattle will beat SF.

Still think Chicago has a good a chance as anyone. The NFC just isn't that great where you can say they don't have a chance. They absolutely have a chance.

Stafford and Adams playing in Chicago many times earlier in their careers definitely helps them - if weather doesnt throw a wrench in the passing game and Stafford's throwing hand is indeed ok,, i dont see how the Bears stop a Rams offense unless it implodes on itself.  Nacua and Adams with a good receiving TE and a running game, with McVay calling plays, seems like alot of points scored.

And the Rams' defensive front is much more dynamic than the Packers' without Parsons and Wyatt.

Any team that found a way to reach the divisional round has a shot, because there is no dominant team in the league this year....but the Bears opening as nearly 5 point dogs at home against LAR is there for a reason.

All that said, the only team with a worse special teams unit than the Packers is the Rams - so weird crap may happen in that phase to change the outcome of this game.

The Steelers suck.

Sad ending for Rodgers if this is it.

Tomlin shouldn’t be back in Pittsburgh. He’s stuck coaching in 2009.

Pretty bad team all year and there's an argument that prior to Rodgers they had the worst QB play in the league for about the last seven seasons. The exit was bad but I thought it was a fairly dignified exit for Rodgers after the Jets, leading a bad team to a division title and proving he definitely could still play.

Most star quarterback last games are not very good. It would be nice to go out with a Super Bowl win but usally they keep on playing if they win it all and they end their career with a playoff loss. I remember Dan Marino ending Joe Montana's career and Dan Marino having one of the worst losses ever a few year later in the playoffs. Just the way it goes.

I am hoping the Rams steamroll the Bears. I wasn’t excited to root for the 49ers over the Bears even though I would but the Rams make it easy.

I would be happy with Buffalo or Houston in the AFC. No thanks to Sean Payton, and while I have no issue with New England really, Boston sports fans are immensely spoiled, like are we really going to see the Patriots become a juggernaut again ALREADY?

Buffalo is far and away my rooting interest. Would love to see Josh Allen finally get one. And let’s be honest, Bills fans are probably the only ones who can one-up us on our playoff heartbreak stories.

Plus then Matt Lafleur becomes the longest tenured coach in the NFL to never reach a Super Bowl, another fun fact for Policy to chew on.

Buffalo and their fans do feel like the AFC version of the Packers so I have always had an easy time rooting for them and will do so again this year, But since I appear to be cursed to be let down by the teams I root for I may be dooming the Bills in the process.

The remaining NFC field is disgusting. I have hatred for 3/4 and indifference to the Rams.

The Seahawks don’t bother me that much. Pete Carroll, Fail Mary, Richard Sherman and 2014 are the only real reasons I have to hate them, and all those things are well in the past now.

It’s Rams, Seahawks, 49ers, and Bears in that order for my preference out of the NFC, although I’d have to plug my nose for either of the last two.

I was at the Fail Mary game, and believe me, you would not be so forgiving if you were as well.

I think I'm rooting for a Rams-Bills Super Bowl....send Stafford out to pasture with a title or get Josh Allen a well-deserved 1st.  Wouldn't mind the Texans' defense carrying them through though, either.

I was rooting for the Jaguars, just because they still felt like underdogs. But now the Bills like probably everyone.

For the Packers, against the Vikings, against the Bears, for the underdog. In that order.

If the Packers and Bills both somehow miraculously made the Super Bowl, which team would choke harder?

I don't know, but if the Bills go on to lose this game, I'm looking forward to all the talking heads explain why McDermott should be fired and MLF should not despite both of them winning a lot of regular season games.

Less than four minutes into the game and Seattle already has this game wrapped up. We could have the Final Four from hell this year with Seattle, Chicago, New England and Denver.

This nearly makes me ill even considering it. Houston and LA are so easy to root for by comparison.
