Wilson starter for today is still TBD. Could this be when we finally see Andrew Healy (9th Rd, 2025, Duke) or Carlos Carra (IFA, 2024, Mexico)? Healy has yet to throw a professional pitch. Carra has carved up (too strong?) the DSL, CPX, and Single-A over his 74 professional innings pitched. More ground balls would serve you well, Carlos. Small guy, 5'11", this will be his age-19 season.

Carlos Rodriguez (touched 94.9 MPH in 1st Start) leads an interesting trio of announced starters. Spin-artist Jaron DeBerry is up. Plus, the long-awaited return of Yorman Galindez.

I'm sure he's been discussed somewhere else on this site (so I apologize), but can someone tell me a bit more about Andrew Healy?  Looks like we drafted him in the 9th rd last year?  Is this someone that might have some potential still?

6'6" 200 Lefty out of Duke. He had a really rough year in 2025 7.29 ERA 42 innings 37 k's/18 walks. However he was much better in 2023 (2.32 era) and 2024 (3.76 era). Stuff has some potential especially at 6'6" with our pitching team.

If it is a 5 game cycle, probably Healy followed by Carra.

Game Notes have Wilson going with Healy-Renz-Mercedes-Mercado-Bonet as starters over the next 5 games, so I guess Carra will piggy-back today or more likely tomorrow.

Bravo, Carra, Conrad, Healy and Prado have yet to appear in a game.

23-year old RHP Jaron DeBerry (4.38 ERA with 102 Ks in 100.2 IP across 3 levels in 2025) gets the ball for AA Biloxi’s 2026 home opener, as they host Marlins’ affiliate Pensacola for 6 games this week. 1B Blake Burke has 3 homers in just 3 games played.

6’6” LHP Andrew Healy (9th round pick out of Duke) makes his Minor League debut as Low-A Wilson commences a 6-game series at Red Sox affiliate Salem in Virginia. 3B Filippo Di Turi had a solid opening weekend (3-for-10 with 2 doubles).

23-year old RHP Yorman Galindez returns to official action for the first time since June 2024, as High-A Wisconsin battle Royals’ affiliate Quad Cities on the road this week. 19-year old CF Braylon Payne went 1-for-4 with a homer and 2 walks in Saturday’s doubleheader.

AAA Nashville (5-3) play at Braves’ affiliate Gwinnett (5-4) this week, with 24-year old RHP Carlos Rodriguez looking to bounce back tonight from his last outing (3.1 IP, 5 R, 2 Ks). 21-year old CF Luis Lara leads the team in hits, runs, homers, stolen bases, walks and total bases.

LHP Drew Rom just struck out 5 Gwinnett Stripers in a row (92.7mph peak velocity), but the Sounds are being 1-hit thru 7 innings and have conceded 10 stolen bases as they trail 4-1.

Nice start to the season for Biloxi OF Damon Keith. Not a good start for the Biloxi audio-visual department:

An annual tradition unlike any other. Uncanny how something Audio-Visual happens in Biloxi literally every season.

Nice organizational debut by Andrew Healy, but looks like Carra ran into some trouble in the 3rd and 4th.

DeBerry with a wonderful 5 IP for Biloxi. While 4 Shuckers so far have gotten on base twice, including Damon Keith, O'Rae and Made too.

T-Rats get a nice start from Galindez - his first outing since his injury recovery?? The T-Rats offense very efficient with 4 Runs on 4 hits and 4 BB despite 11 Ks.

Love seeing LHP Bjorn Johnson with an effective and efficient outing. Quite the debut so far for one RHP Braylon Owens. 5 K through 3.0 IP 👀 Anyone have eyes on his work?

I just turned the game on for his most recent inning but it was the dreaded press box camera angle.
