19-year old RHP Miqueas Mercedes and Low-A Wilson need a win at Salem to avoid a 3-0 series deficit. Eric Martinez gets a rare start at first base.

19-year old RHP Ethan Dorchies makes his 2nd start (4 IP, 2 R, 4 Ks last outing), as High-A Wisconsin strives for a 3-0 series lead at Quad Cities. 3B Andrew Fischer, DH Marco Dinges and LF Josh Adamczewski each look to keep their early-season OPS above 1.000.

Burke looks a bit too big (in a negative way) right now. But man he is smacking the absolute crap out of the ball. He is also swiping some bags. There's a decent chance that he is the best part of the Burnes trade lol.

Burke really feels in a class of his own when it comes to power hitting prospects with the Brewers right now. I’m struggling to think of the last guy that had this type of raw and game power in our system. Maybe crazy but could it be Prince?

Jesus Made's barrel control is generational. Another smoked ball. A 2 RBI single. My goodness he is just 18 in AA. You have to pinch yourself sometimes. I don't think Chourio was as good of a prospect.

Yeah that looks like a Birchard line. 60 pitches for 3 innings, 1 hit allowed, 4 walks and 5 K.

man that Nashville offense is offensive.  Henderson pitched well, but really no one is leading that offense.

wilson also without much offense either.

Prince raw power wise. Burke probably will never be that type of prospect though. A guy that came to mind and I might be aging myself here a bit but Hunter Morris. He didnt have this type of raw power but he put up some real numbers in the southern league.

After Dorchies awful first inning, he did settle down.  The offense in not doing too much tonight.

Nashville despite its offensive struggles has 6 runs and the lead.  But only Leonard and Jones with ok numbers, and Lara is the only prospect hitting.  Quero, Williams, Pratt, Adams not so much.  I won’t even go there with Wilken.

Wilken is wasting time there.

2 Ks looking for Made. Or shall we say gifts from the umpire to the pitcher. Both pitches were outside by a good amount. ABS is coming soon Jesus. Dont fret.

I didn’t watch a ton of Burke last year but I seem to recall him pulling the ball and hitting line drives and having a healthy number of Ks.
It would seem he’s made quite an adjustment in the early going.

Oppo TACO BURKE. This guy is must see TV!!!

Six HRs now, and yet to see his 30th AB. If this power translates as he climbs he's extremely dangerous because his power extends to all fields & compared to a lot of power guys the swing seems pretty effortless.
