Jones just single handedly turning a close game into a laugher.  Send the kid back to AAA.

The bullpen sez hold me beer and watch this.

Part of me wonders if they just don't want Lara sitting as much as he might in Milwaukee.

I can understand this logic, but if that is the case then it is time to try Eddys Leonard.

He's been playing LF a lot for Nashville.

Can play the IF too to add to the versatility.

Has some pop in the bat (3 HR's in the last two days) with decent HR numbers last year in AAA as well.

I think the whole just throw garbage in a brewer uniform will magically transform them into something good has served its purpose.

What is Arnold’s plan with all of the SP depth across the majors and MLB? Ok, you want to keep guys like Henderson, Crow, Gasser, and Sproat stretched out, but to what end? When do you bite the bullet and convert one of these guys to a relief arm to bolster the pen? Alternatively, how much more do we need to see from Hamilton, Rengifo, and Ortiz before trading some of that pitching depth for a competent bat makes sense?

its obviously early, but how much more do we need to see from this bullpen and putrid non-injury replacement lineup?

It's getting late early.

This seems to be the Brewers every year until about June. I just condition myself every year not to worry until July 4th or so. But eventually there's gotta be a year they don't figure it out.

You can play him every day in Milwaukee . He doesn’t currently have better options blocking him.

Great question.  Positionally I think they're in a tough spot because they have a bunch of bats in the system a year or more away.  I think they're even more reluctant than usual to move pitching depth for a bat because those guys aren't going to be around long.  Same reason why they dealt Durbin I think.

I have no idea what you do with Zerpa now.

You can't trust him at all. Maybe a phantom arm strain.

Zerpa gave Ozuna too much credit when he fell behind & walked him, Other than that he wasn't all that bad. Reynolds hits a bouncer to 3B if Rengifo wasn't playing the line, so blame the positioning more than anything else.
