Well, that was fun!

Man, if Jackson could have come through here...

Been a while since I’ve seen that bad of breaking pitches in MLB. They were doing nothing.

Jackson can't lay off the high ones.

Came into the at bat too aggressive and then recovered nicely and battled to get it to 3-2.

Then lost discipline again on strike 3 (which was ball 4).  He's so fun to watch but he does that sometimes.

Well, things seemed to work out somehow. That's why I'm just a dude and not a manager of an MLB team.

We are all indeed a board full of dudes & dudettes … not MLB caliber managers

BTW - Where is our Florida dudette board member … I haven’t seen her post this year

At this point, you just have to play Bauers, Vaughn, and Yelich everyday!  We need all the bats we can get!

I'm fine with putting Bauers out in LF on a daily basis, at the very least, until he cools down.  I'll take his less than Steller defense if he keeps hitting.

Yelich DH, Bauers as our every day LF, and Vaughn at 1B.

Just freaking do it, and let Chourio play daily in CF.  Frelick and Mitchell can fight it out for at bats in RF.

I'm not seeing it.  How so?

Fastball/changeup type guy. Deceptive fastball that plays faster than it is because of their respective release points.

Hadn't thought of it that way.  Henderson doesn't get the extension that Freddy did so the release points are deceptive in different ways, and Freddy has more max velocity on his fastball, so I didn't make the connection, but I see what you're saying now that I think of it.
