I hope Boston cuts loose Durbin.

We have internal options that are better than Rengifo that we for some reason refuse to go to.

Can we please just end the Rengifo experience?

Still think Hamilton will go out first.  But Rengifo keeps making it more interesting of a question than it should be.

Hamilton can at least be optioned. But Rengifo has a -0.5 WAR entering tonight. It’s getting tough to keep putting him out there.

Pete in 12 years of Fld% - .966

Bauers last year in LF Fld% - .933 over 152innings.

Some terrible outfielders have respectable fielding percentages because they don’t get to enough balls to make errors.

Fielding percentage is generally a bad measure of fielding ability and it’s especially bad for outfielders.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Look, you get what you get with Bauers in LF. He’s not good.

Worth it to get both him and Vaughn in the lineup right now? Probably.

Sucks that Yelich is pretty much DH only at this point.

Come on, Bauers is .981 in the outfield for his career.

Rengifo is a zero tool player. He's fortunate Vaughn barely had his toe on base.

Vaughn saved his bacon in a huge way.

It is.  Hamilton's options make him the obvious choice on June 1st (assuming that's the Super 2 deadline) but Rengifo, while he's been unlucky, BABIP wise, is making it hard to keep him around.  Just not playing good baseball right now.

He had 3 years in Anaheim where he was serviceable so I get what they were thinking. But he was not good last year and has been even worse this year so yeah he’s probably cooked.

He's been horrid, worse than our current 3B, who shall remain nameless.

Y'all are so funny who do u complain about if rengifo  goes ahh I guess Ortiz is still here.

Ortiz is who he is.  We already know that, and he has been on the team for 3 seasons.

Rengifo was our big FA signing in the off season, he is drawing more scorn because of that, and the fact that he stinks.

I don’t think the Brewers ever had any intention of Rengifo making it the whole season on the roster. He was a stopgap signing, it would have been nice if he made it difficult to release him but he didn’t and he won’t be long for this roster. They might try to buy a little more time though, it’s not like we aren’t winning ballgames right now.
