Probably not considering where the SS was playing.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Find someone who loves you the way that Pat Murphy loves Sal “Slappy” Frelick.

It’s unbelievable he and Perkins are both in the major league roster. One should be DFA’d and the other optioned to AAA and it’s making less of a difference which one gets what.

Sal needs to be sent down for Lara.   Woodruff needs to retire so we can use whatever money we have left to get a rental third baseman.   Enough of this crap

you guys wanting Pratt to hit there are nuts. Wine about Frelick all you want, but he was the best option there.

In what way?

Saw something the other day that Sal is among the 20 worst qualified position players by WAR in baseball.

He has more than earned a trip to Nashville and we keep treating him like he’s Jackson Chourio going through a slump,

The Brewers are in a position that they can afford to let Pratt either have a moment or take his lumps in that position in the 8th. Hitting Frelick for him is really questionable at this point given what Sal has or hasn't done. Just a really frustrating decision.

Pratt is a light hitting righty that had average minor league stats. Sal could have easily had a hit there but was robbed.

I disagree.  Sal has had a lot of opportunities, we know all about Sal.

Pratt may have come through there, we'll never know, but his chances weren't any worse than what Sal offered.

Hindsight and all, I let Pratt hit there and see what happens.

He’s James Mouton with marginally better slug (less than 100 PAs difference) yet Mouton was a nobody and bounced around to 4 different clubs while Sal starts most nights.

Sal is bad, doesn’t have the power to turn on one there, and doesn’t even hit particularly great against RHP.

You could make an equally good or better case for Sanchez.

Just one of those games that makes you want to rip your eyeballs out

We have had a few too many of those lately even while winning.

Not playing clean baseball consistently.
