Well they are at it still despite Ragsdale getting promoted, he hits his first AA HR, and right before that in highA Braylon Payne hits a 2-run HR to take the lead. These two had been so hit the last week or two in Wisconsin together but another anything you can do I can do moment for these two potential future OF in the bigs

It must be such a sneaky cool thing for these guys to move around and 'find each other' again.

Fischer and Adamczewski start with the TRats and move to Biloxi and hit the ground running. A few weeks later one of their buddies Ragsdale shows up and he is now a part of it. I'm sure it won't be long before some or all of Payne, Bitonti, Hall, Owens, Pena, Dinges, etc have found their way south and the band will all be back together.

I know they are in Spring Training with the whole crew and everything... but these are their guys this year. Must be a fun reunion when someone else gets called up to rejoin you. Brotherhood within the brotherhood.

Well, the jump to AA certainly hasn’t sapped Fischer’s power. Two tonight for 26 so far this season.

The only time I remember seeing a power display like this in the Brewer system was in the 1970s, when the AAA team was in Sacramento, the ballpark had something like a 240ft LF distance & a young OF named Gorman Thomas enjoyed himself.

Pretty sure they had some hitter friendly affiliates in the 1980's too.

I remember thinking Billy Jo Robidoux (.342 with 23 HR and 132 RBI) and Joey Meyer (.304 with 37 HR and 123 RBI) were bound for stardom when I saw their 1985 El Paso stats on the back of their baseball cards, to say nothing of their visages on the front.
