Yeah, I mean it’s not always the same path to victory. A lot of ugliness tonight, but the pitching was great and Mitchell’s D was awesome.

Sometimes it’s about winning in spite of the things you don’t do well. I think Miami is a quality opponent, too.

Whew!!! After the untimely chokes by Rollover, Churio, Turang, and Bauers, Mitchell comes up HUGE!!  Then the icing on the cake, the Twins do the Crew a big favor and beat the cubs. Hopfully this win will get the Crew hitters out of their funk and lead to big winning streak.

Big shoutout to Yoho (with some help from Mitchell) for a great job in the 10th. The entire staff looked very good tonight holding a good Marlin team to one run.

“Relief” win is a good word for it because it would have been very frustrating to lose after virtually emptying out the bullpen.

Darn right, that would have been a hard one to accept had the outcome gone the other way.

Winning this game doesn’t make it more acceptable that Jackson Chourio didn’t challenge that strike call in the 9th inning and I really hope Murphy has a conversation with him about it and I hope he learns from it,

He should have challenged but he got fooled and thought it was a strike.

Murphy in the postgame presser made it sound like Frelick is going to be out for quite awhile. 

Which sucks for Sal. From a team standpoint, I don’t think it really hurts, Lara is going to play almost daily now and Perkins probably comes back up in his usual bench role.
