Quite possibly. I’d actually be glad. The game today is devoid of personality (Judge is text book vanilla, Ohtani the game’s biggest star doesn’t speak the language so who knows what his personality is…..) and while PCA definitely can be a tool, a guy who is a character, and a terrific player, is good for the game.

Yelich has gone from 4-3 groundouts to warning track fly balls … still not hitting for average & looks washed with an occasional big hit … a fading star with two more years of high salary after 2026

I don’t care if he throws junk in his junk role but his junk at least needs to be in the strike zone. We have no use for a mop up guy who comes in with a big lead and can’t throw strikes.
