The Dodgers could have done nothing and still been the best team in baseball.  Cubs, eh, we'll see but they had a lot of work to do just to catch up.

So is this a six man rotation now or does Sproat (or Drohan) go to the pen?  I guess you have Gasser and Crow to sprinkle in for load managment.

All of the analysts I have seen so far have rated the Brewers as one of the biggest losers at the deadline. First for not going all in on Skubal and then for not doing better than May as a Plan B SP (and probably overpaying for him).

The analysts always underestimate the Brewers.  Doesn't really matter to me what a bunch of heads think about what the Brewers have or have not done at the deadline.

I feel kinda blah about this season now.  The regular season is what it is.  The season is going to end the same way it always does.  Just a matter what round.

With all of these division titles the Brewers are going to be evaluated based on their potential to go deep in the playoffs. And there they have not been underestimated.
