I was going to reference that.   They actually scored a bunch early (albeit just a flat out gift from Minnesota) and the pitcher went on to suck.   Maybe our pitchers just enjoy the pain

Probably #3.  If we get to the playoffs with Miz, Harrison, and Henderson healthy, we have a chance in any series.  We won't be the favorites over the Dodgers, but they are a good enough top 3 guys to give us a shot.

Most of it is because our hitting with risp has cratered since June 1st. 

Last year we were among the best in the league and this year we're much closer to worst.

Surprised to see Henderson going out for the 7th inning. I understand the exhausted bullpen. Hope he can exit with seven complete & a lead. Risky but maybe necessary. Could be huge if we can close this one out & save the weary “A bullpen” arms.

Right as the announcers say his fastball velocity was down this inning.  Not a crazy high pitch count, but probably running out of gas a bit.
