I get Wilson isn't great but I would much rather have him than this dude, even if we had to wait a couple days before he could pitch again.

Sigh - the Brewers got the good Casey Mize tonight.   Don't think they touch the setup and closer for the Padres in the 8th & 9th.

I think it's more like Casey Mize got to face an anemic Brewers offense. I honestly don't know how we're going to score enough runs to win many games during this road trip.

Oh yeah, cover your mouth while you're talking to Lyon Richardson.  Don't want the Padres to know any of the secrets you're giving him.

Button up your jersey, ya goon.

Between that and the toothpick, if this guy doesn't pitch well, he's quickly going on my list of least favorite Brewers.

I fear a west coast meltdown on the horizon

Our bats have been fairly cold for a few weeks

The bullpen is wasted

It’s a long season & there are a few miserable stretches

We didn’t handle our business against the bad teams prior to this upcoming stretch against quality teams

Yeah, he got to face the Brewers.

Someone should have been up in that scenario. Hall, Senzatela, and Patrick all were available tonight. Henderson's stuff was clearly gone pushing him deeper than he's ever gone before. Obviously this is on the awful offense though. Run support is not allowed anymore.

Same here. If the Cubs don't gain ground on the Brewers this week then they probably never will. This is their chance.

The bottom of our 26-man roster is extremely weak right now

Pratt’s untimely injury & Ortiz’s lack of availability makes this week’s games very difficult

There are 3-4 players on the current roster who are not MLB quality

My attitude towards pushing a guy to try and steal an inning is he pitches until someone gets on. Then you make the move.

I wish Murphy shared this view.

Murph likes to put his seatbelt on after he’s already been ejected through the windshield.

Did that really just happen?  My god, I hope someone tells him to clean it up should he get back into another game.

The this year we're much closer to worst is false.

Top 10 in both BA, OBP and SLG with RISP.

The Brewers are also #1 with PA's with RISP the Cubs are 2 and the Pirates 3.  The Cubs are only in the top 10 in OBP everything else there are middle of the pack.

Since June 1st we are 23rd.

Does Richardson always look like a beach bum? Toothpick and shirt wide open?

Six man rotations don’t work well.
A short overworked bullpen can be disastrous.

I remember 4-man rotations with a swing man in the bullpen.  And there were lots of COMPLETE GAMES.  Oh I miss those days.
