I feel bad for Bryse, he's probably going to throw 60 pitches and then get DFA'd again because he can't take up a roster spot while he's resting for 4 days.

They know the deal I think. Richardson probably on speed dial right now.

Any concern Harrison is hurt? Haven’t watched but just heard velo way down.

Probably

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Just as long as his feelings aren't too hurt.

Harrison continues to melt down. Guy has fallen off the face of the planet since the trip to Vegas

This is false as he hasn't given up more than 3 runs before this start.  The game after the Vegas start he had 6 IP and only 3 hits and 0 runs scored against.  Then came the injury against the Cardinals.  So he hasn't fallen off the face of the planet since the trip to Vegas.

I’m having flashbacks to the disastrous West Coast road trip late in 2014 that dropped the Brewers out of first place in the division for good.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I don’t think so, they showed him in the dugout on camera a few times after he was pulled.  I think if he had any discomfort he’d be in getting evaluated

Best 10 game hitting stretch for Luis Rengifo as a Brewer: .699 OPS

Luis Rengifo as a Padre: .890 OPS

But yeah I’m sure it’s just random baseball oscillation and has nothing to do with the hitting coaches.

The Yelich conversation this off season has to be had by Arnold. You cannot start next season with him as your primary dh. He has to accept bench role or be released. It's time to take it out of Murphy hands.

I was thinking the same thing. With the drop in velocity I am surprised he wasn't pulled earlier to protect him.

Does July 3rd not count?

I would call that a bad outing as he only went 2.2 IP but I think that was more because of his pitch count being 71 after 2.2 IP.  There was an error that extended the inning in the second in that game which contributed to the high pitch count.  He did have a bad third inning after getting two outs.  So counts as a bad start sure so one out of the previous 6 starts and if you want to count the one against the Cardinals that is 2 out of 6 starts after the Vegas game.

Still not falling off the face of the earth bad.

Not saying he's falling off the face of the Earth but he got hurt and then he had cramps in a good start. He was awful tonight, his defense behind him was awful, so it's hard to extrapolate a lot from one start (as it should) but there are questions there, in my opinion.

I'd bet 13 more wins getting to 87 would be enough to make the postseason.

I'm guessing we've got about 20 wins left in them and 25 at the most.

What a shock Vaughn hits the ball. But it's probably best Murphey keeps him on the bench. I mean seriously? Is the Milwaukee media pushing back at all?

What are we doing here? It's almost insane.

Machado is a grade A douchebag but he'd be the best hitter in our lineup.

And he's having a crappy season.

If Machado was on the Brewers people would be constantly complaining about his low batting average and how his contract was an albatross that is going to kill the Brewers. I mean the guy is slashing .215/.299/.419 on the year.
